Nice win for Cunego. There's work to do though and I'm nervous still about the result.
The next few years though look as if they're going to be all about Madrazo at the Tour.
Btw, hope you did well in your exams, SN.
I respectfully disagree

hmmm,
nice for it to be back, but a pity about the result.
Still plenty to play for though.

Decent enough day for Phinney. Would like to see him put some time into Trofimov so he can overtake him with the TT's.

Obviously, I have given up on winning - but if Dekker continues like this, a podium spot is possible, and that'd be great. |

As expected, the mountain stat had more importance than the TT there. Congrats to UBS for that great ride. Cunego sealed overall victory there I think.
Amazing report too!

Cunego surely has this in the bag now, barring crash or complete collapse. Congrats to UBS there. |

I was like that :

And my final opinion is :

That image probably understatement of century. Brilliant report, best report from TT I've ever seen. Well done doesn't justify the effort that took, so chapeau
Interesting TT. Well done USB. Cunego again increases his lead but imo this is far from over.

Good stage that from Cunego. The stage played out the way I was hoping. Cunego is inching closer to the overall but I haven't ruled out Madrazo just yet. All we need on one of the remaining mountain stages is for the AI to let him go and he gets a minute.
Pluchkin too on a long, long time trail will probably get around 3 minutes on Cunego so the cushion to him is not as big as it looks either. |

Ouch, I feared as much, but I thought I should beat Cunego here. I need some magic in the mountains now.

Cracking TT report.
Alas pretty dismal from JRB, but to be expected of course in this type of test. The next stage is a great chance for a breakaway - really hope Calzati or Moinard can slip away in it.

Fothen seems to be regaining some form. Hopefully this means that he will go full throttle, and attack away. He shouldn't pose any threat so perhaps he could go for a stage win atleast.
Decent TT, though I had hoped for some more seeing Phinney only beating him with 1sec. 5th is good though.

Would have been nice if Ardila was able to take the stage win there. Even with this performance I'm not sure he'll be able to hang on to the top 10 on Champs Elysees. That's why a stage win would have been awesome.
Still this performance deserves a banana even if he will fall outside the top 10 after the next mountain stage and the final time-trial.

Well, another man to beat. Hopefully, Ardila won't be as difficult to get rid of as Pliuschin and Spilak. |

Seems like Keizer is really suffering from his crash, finishing in the second group. I do find it annoying that not one of my climbers tries to join the break though.

Dekker is clearly not comfortable riding for your team at the moment. Maybe you should let him go next season
