Taaramae in after 6 minutes, Degenkolb wins the pack sprint 10 minutes after Thomas de Gendt came over the line.
Still waiting for Levi to finish...

Well done De Gendt
Feillu vs Degenkolb sprint was an entertaining contrast of styles. |

And Levi comes over the line, losing 6 minutes to the pack and 16 minutes to de Gendt.
Anyone noticed Angel Vicioso on 10th in the GC?

Not really surprising tbh, he made the key break with 26 others, while many climbers missed out. He lost time on next stages, but enough to get him that position. Same with Rojas. The highest rider in the GC who wasn't in that break is Uran. Sanchez too. Great position for him though, but doesn't convey anything.

1t4i will ride MSR, otherwise Kittel would't say Degenkold will lead their squad there.
The German explained that while Paris-Nice was his first goal this year, his fellow countryman John Degenkolb would probably be the team's leader at Milano-Sanremo on March 17. "We have a lot of good riders for this race and I think it will probably be John Degenkolb who will be there as team leader," he continued.

Taaramäe told that De Grnt was beast..he was pulling 5km faster then him and much longer. Rein thought that this will burn him out..and tryed even atack few times. But. now..This guy was awsome ..Well done Thomas.
Taaramäe himself was happy..he was completly dead at the morning. Tour has been disaster for him. It was super hard day. He crashed..and medic personal was already ready with stretchers. He wanted to continue..thanks to adrenalin he did not feel any pain on he's legs like in the morning.
After all he sayed...thats why I love this sport. It's damn hard ..and you just need keep on riding. Whatever your situation is. |

Taaramäe promised a English blog soon
Meanwhile, you should learn Estonian because his latest post is awesome
Google translate version for you guys below
Spoiler The Seventh Day
Welcome.
Heavy, heavy, heavy. I had to basically live in today, over all the difficulties which must be for our sport. Waking in the morning I felt tired and sore feet, and was a real pessimist. Before take-off and have even had a bad head was spinning. Muretsemagi had already become, again, if there is a lack of oxygen, but got away worse. But the take-off until the madness began. Imesin first 25 miles and I was struggling. Then one went bang and I was descending into the hard road back. The dreaded worse, because the right hand did not want to move and the picture did not come down. Went through your head the idea that now is the jokk too, but minutes after I got the photos back. Some doctors were looking for a stretcher, but I said, 'No, no, I will continue, "and I was back to league, which went out again to the full. Putku all wanted to, because I had a very high likelihood that men will remain intact today. Who will reach 200 km chase, and in addition to the last day.
After maokat felt, however, that the devil, no more pain in the legs. Something did not feel as if some drugs in some shrunken. Everything was dull (probably the adrenaline was on the ceiling), plus I was angry and full of oxen, and I said into the PE *, today no one can go without me. Was then attacked by a couple of times and some time later I saw that the front wheel and the whole bunch goes from the right direction (the bridge was a concrete dividing wall). Created the light bulb comes on, gas is now the bottom and right sides of the bridge and when we reached the bottom of the first Bunch was left next to his brother, but my speed was 20 km / h above, and the gap was a whiz on the inside. A couple of miles alone, about 55 km / h, and then came back a well-known shovel - De Gendt. So we got off. About 15 km further attempt was made to the rear, but the difference increased from 15s, 20s, 25s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and it had been cut back to pee.
There was, of course, sure, what's next, because the two men is not difficult to catch, such as. Three teams work to do. But it seemed that everyone was tired and did not have such a team today, who would have taken this burden upon itself. Interim grew and grew, and about 80 km we realized that our victory will play. Although the majority of phase I went through the pain, the knee in half, hollowed collarbone and the head and fell, however, an optimist. Who knows, if I kept my strength as much as I could and I told myself that I must try the Col de Vence'i on top, because I can finish off the De Gendtilt anyway.
While De Gendt No estimate grammigi, he made a transfer to 1-2 kildaseid exchanges and also ran 5 km / h faster than me. I thought that such a long day and fuck like riding a rider should kill yourself though, but EIIII. The machine is a machine. I respect Thomas!
I did a little movie reaching Vence'i - faces and gasping. After 1 km of climbing left him in a small difference that would make it totally, and I hoped that she is mature and will try it after a detention of three shale. I sit a little tail on it and put litaka. So I did, however, De Gendt jumped tail on me. Repeated 2-3 times more of the same event, hoping that a man goes out, however, about 3 km before the end of the hill called Vacansolei rider attack and he was gone. It does not surprise me, because I know his capabilities. Last year's Alpe d'Huez'i Tour and the fourth man runs past the fifth guy, one of the league with a more powerful engine.
Next, Thomas tried to catch him and keep the difference, about 5 km I managed it, but it was rent in exchange for a long and steadily grew and grew. As I drove home at the end of runways, and I knew I was happy that the next 30 km downhill run and the last 10 km along the Nice promenade, which is smooth and fortunately, the case where the wind. The last 60 km was eneseületus, legs were empty and the musical has also had no effect. Only endured, and I was afraid that people come by. Not long ago, such ponnistust done. Had a similar experience last Vuelta 2011th
Congratulations to Thomas. I am completely satisfied with your trip. Already been sick for two weeks, but in the end is basically healthy and will come down to your feet. I can really be proud of one's own. Today I passed a decent war. I hope that the collarbone is intact. Today, tomorrow, or get into the X-ray. For me, the Paris-Nice is now essentially run as the team chiefs ordering to proceed through the journey tomorrow. If all goes well and the fracture is not waiting for me in front of Catalunya Velotuur.
Thanks a lot for people who were with me today! Today I felt the battle by the way, I really love this sport. Difficulties are overcome and the wheel weights divisible sport!
All wise, who will now largely taught that you make an effort in which you kill yourself, does it make sense, etc ... As many pessimists komgeks is, say, walk by the moon. Wheel Sport is an area where driven through pain, through tears. None of the good result is not a gift by making a few vändapööret smile. It is the area where there has to endure hours, days, weeks and hundreds of miles in that respect, never down without explanation. So all of those, go the fuck!

De Gendt says Taaramaë pissed him off by attacking on the last climb after first not working on the climb. De Gendt then rode up to him and ask why he did that, no answer. And then again Taaramäe attacked behind de Gendt's back. Now De Gendt was seriously pissed because he just wanted to work with Taaramae till after the climb, but now he was so mad that he just countered and left him.
Don't understand why Taaramäe made life so much harder for himself by attacking |

Wow that was some serious bad luck for Leipheimer. I never thought I'd feel bad for the guy, but I genuinely did while watching the stage. Of course it'd help if he wasn't a terrible decender who makes Basso look like Savoldelli, but still.
Great win for De Gendt.
