Awfully - they both got dropped
@ Lance - not really - I changed this time because my old save game didn't work any more when reinstalled for some odd reason

Tour Down Under - Stage 1
Mawson Lakes - Tanunda
Quite possibly the most disastrous sprint chain I've ever set up
Team Leaders: Luis Pasamontes and Baden Cooke
Geraint Thomas punctured early, and showed exactly what he thought of the Unibet.com car that I nearly drove into him, as Saul Raisin led the 5 man break to take the climber's jersey
After the break was caught, our sprint chain fell apart - first Thijs fell after a kangaroo got onto the road, then Zanotti punctured due to the manager's crap graphics (again), so Cooke was on his own
Cooke led from the front, and nearly took it, but O'Grady managed to get round him. Bob Johnson took this picture, and 4 hours later, he's still stuck
A happy O'Grady then, but some nice early season sprinting from Cooke

News - Dave Jones has wandered off, and is on the trail for next year's neo-pros. A new assistant will be announced shortly

Tour Down Under - Stage 2
Mannum - Hahndorf
Crack open up the Foster's mate, Unibet get a win
Team Leaders: Luis Pasamontes and Baden Cooke
After yesterday's fall, Thijs decided to go for that mountain jersey in the break - and he got it
Dave Jones was playing the didgeridoo on the web cam as he went on his global scour - but Thijs was still with 2 others with other a minute with 36 km left
Crikey! He's ditched the others, and he could actually do this
He does, he takes our first win and puts on the climber's jersey too
What an awesome win!!!

News - A new assistant has been appointed, and is currently coordinating the efforts to free Bob Johnson from where he is still stuck - he'll be announced shortly.
Breaking news - Bob Johnson was freed, but our new assistant accidentally knocked over some Aussie's can of fosters when celebrating - we wish him well as both his broken arms heal

Tour Down Under - Stage 3
Stirling - Victor Harbour
Another podium spot, another pack sprint
Team Leaders: Luis Pasamontes and Baden Cooke
In a new nice jersey, Thijs joins the break and begins to rack up more mountain points - shame it's a mix up and he's not wearing the climber's jersey, but oh well
A far more successful train this time, as we try to propel Baden Cooke up to the front
Bugger, more Aussie success as Simon Clarke wins and Baden Cooke can't even get past 2 of his lead out men, So Jeremy takes 3rd spot

Tour Down Under - Stage 4
Willunha-Willunga
What's this! Hills? A typical Dave Jones "flat stage", he think's he's already found someone!!!
Team Leaders: Luis Pasamontes and Baden Cooke - Time for Pasamontes to come to the fore
Thijs (correct jersey now) joins the early 9 man break
Oh dear. My car breaks down, and here is our back up car my new assistant provides me with - it breaks down, so the team is on its own
Pasamontes does rubbish on the climb, and 3 riders pull away - Aerts takes the win.
What an awful performance - Pasamontes was not there today, and Dave Jones has decided to play a 'practical joke' on all of us and our team credit cards won't work - looks like llama's on the menu tonight

Tour Down Under - Stage 5
Adelaide City Council Circuit
A final chance for success, Baden?
Team Leaders: Luis Pasamontes and Baden Cooke
Gardeyn tries to make up for his shocking tour - it doesn't work
You push, I'll pull - Bob Johnson gets stuck...again
Not a bad tour, but not great - a jersey, a stage win and a top 10 result is some good early season preparation - as long as we improve

The Unibet board weren't happy with our first month of racing results, or the fact that my assistant had wandered off to go on his global search. They are a bit too demanding if you ask me - it's only a warm up month, but they still want to be dominating early - when I told them we would be struggling in the ProTour this year, they gave me icy stares, and when I asked them for a new team car, they actually threw stuff at me - I have chunks of coffee mugs still lodged in parts of me!!!
It took a lot of time therefore for me to persuade them to buy a new team car, but after yelling at them from a long way away so they couldn't throw stuff at me, I managed to make them see sense. Unfortunately, the sense part is kind of lacking in the boards finance department. Here's the new car:
Fitting the spare bikes/llamas to it is going to be a struggle though.
Next up, we are in Malaysia for the Tour de Langkawi, but before that, we'll be announcing the first of Jones' prodigies that he's found

Well, I'm totally bored with Unibet. Those directors seemed more hassle than they are worth, and there was talk of race fixing that sickened me, so I decided to get out of there straight away. I only went there for the money anyway, so my heart would never be in it, which is almost sacrilege as a director sportif, so I've decided that I've got to start at the bottom again, and actually grow to love the team. Plus, I've just hit big in the Premiun Bonds, and am now a millionaire, so my wage no longer bothers me greatly
Except this time, it's the very, very bottom. You can't go further down. Well actually, you can, as I've still got my good friend Dave Jones with me, who's managed to nick one of his global prodigies from signing with Unibet to signing for us - we had to give the young lad a wage increase, but Dave reckons it's worth it.
So who am I with? Which team is the lowest of the low, and comes with these nifty helpers in the package of becoming the team manager?
Sorry guys, but after the recent influx of lower team stories, I realised that I got very bored with big teams that are not the ones I've taken to glory, so it's another change for Allan, and back to the bottom for you as he leads you with one of the worst teams in game
