I watched five episodes of House of Cards. Didn't really hook me that much. I find the dialogues to be a bit, well, forced and badly written. Grand performance by Spacey though.
Just watched Breaking Bad Season 5 Episode 14. Holy shit. The one year wait for these 7-8 episodes was so worth it. It just keeps getting better.

If you're into the NFL, "The League" is really funny. It revolves around fantasy football. It is kind of childish at times, with quite rude humor, but very funny.
You don't have to be into NFL to enjoy The League. It's an amazing show
Edit: @Crue, I remember you said you like the theme song from Psych. Maybe it's time to give it a go? You won't regret it

Breaking Bad is amazing! Just gutted there's only two more episodes now!
I was glued to Breaking Bad from season 1 to season 4 , but i have to admit everything was bit overstreched in the last episodes of 4th season, too much to believe. But i will finish it at some point for sure, one of the best series of 21st century.
You should definitely watch season 5 at some point. It's the best series finale I've seen. So many shows have disappointed me in the end (right now for example Dexter, other shows being Lost, Heroes and whatsoever), but Breaking Bad really does it in its own way and its better than I hoped. I know, there are a lot of people around hyping Breaking Bad, talking about it as if it's the best show. I am not sure it is, but, as I said, it definitely delivers the best series finale I've enjoyed so far.
@niconico: Yeah. It's a bit of shame. They could have easily made a season 6 with all the stuff that's going on. But I'm kinda happy. I think Vince Gilligan once said, that he wants the finale to be great and that people talk about it. He doesn't want to hear people say: "Oh, that show was good. Is it still on?", when it's already off the air. And to get something like that, you just need blow everyone's mind.

Pretty much hooked on Attack on Titan the last two days. Anime about a world in which mankind has to live behind giant walls in fear of being attacked by giants. Pretty amazing and addictive, but the finale is kinda... well, I hoped for more, but apparently that's because the Manga, which it is based on, isn't even finished yet.

Doctor Who's 50th anniversary episode has aired and how amazing it was, so who watched it?
Yup, it was pretty damn great. Lots of fan wank though, but alas, it's the 50th special and they definitely made it special. Loved lots of the dialogues and the general story-line.
Spoiler
This time around, the solution to the problem was thankfully already established before the big showdown. Oh, and nice homage to all these doctors.
Even David Tennant and especially Billie Piper have rehabilitated themselves a bit through this Special.

anybody knows if the Legend of the Seeker is any good? (familty started watching it without me, maybe because I have the habit of pointing out flaws in the episode. managed to ruin the entire X-Men franchise just because of one line )

Then you can't watch it
Its not bad but has illogical flaws
Another recomendation coming.... If you like gaming then you must watch "Indie Game: The Movie"
Follows the creators of Fez and SuperMeat Boy through the latter parts of the games developments. Really interesting insight into two massively different processes and events.
Fez ever delayed and plagued with various legal and production issues. SMB under growing time pressures and personal issues.
Really beautifully shot. Stunning cinematography throughout the film. Great personal insights, enough to make Phil Fish seem like a nice guy!
I cannot recommend this highly enough for anyone who has an interest in gaming or who has played either game. Equally if you have not played either game you really really should
Jeez, just watched the pilot of Les Revenants. French tv show about a village where the dead return in their original form, like they never left. Besides that, no idea what it is about, but one thing is certain: That thing is incredible, best damn pilot I have seen in ages.

Having read the four Sherlock Holmes novels (no short stories yet), I decided to try the BBC TV Show Sherlock. And it's amazing. Brilliant show.
Can't say the same about the movie starring Robert Downey Jr though. Couldn't watch it for more than 6-7 minutes. Awful choice to cast Downey Jr as Sherlock and I was really looking forward seeing Rachel McAdams as Irene Idler ( ).
