would be the most welcome way of course but not the only one.
just a little example of a how to:
1. create some variant stages
2. create a few STA_stage tables, which use those variant stages
3. include one of these STA_stage variant tables into your career save game as soon as the latest race of any season has been done.
(should be even possible by just using such an *.exe, which is able to change a database; like the installer exe of the final pcm.daily expansion pack for example ... while i understood it right)
so in short words ... nothing is impossible; it's just a matter of will and work

Yes, you can always work-around - but I'd much rather wait for Cyanide's "automatic" solution 
(And no, we can't really make an exe file which does the job for you in that matter) |

sure, i also wouldn't want to do all that work, while there is a chance, that cyanide will fix it by a patch soon
was just some example in case they say "no" at all for implementing variants yet... or they would need until october for it

so your *.exe just "overwrite" the local.db instead of changing it, right?

Only the DB with 999 MB or at first the Beta PCM Daily 345 MB?

We've made two files. One is a .7z-file (like .rar) for those of you who downloaded and installed the Public Beta. The other one is an .exe-file which installs itself and contains all files, including the Public Beta.
So if you have the beta installed, download the Beta to Final update which....surprise....updates your Beta version to the Final version. If not, download the Full .exe, which will install the final version.
Clear enough?

downloaded the expansion pack(and i must say that i have the original game,so no one can say that it may be a problem with my game)and i get the following error: the pcm expansion pack has not been totally installed because of the following reason: cm_textures\cycliste\team\vac\vac_maillot_bul.tga:this file contains invalid data(error 21 FC).what can i do to get it work?its the first time i buy the game(as i am addicted to football manager),so i can play it without problems,to download everything i can,etc...and when i have something great(like this expansion pack),it does not work...any answers? i hope that i get a fast answer, before my nerves get to me |
