Katusha almost screwed it up tactically all over again, luckily for them, Rodriguez came out of nowhere.
Katushas plan all along I supect. Rodriguez is best on the steep climbs, so Ivanov and Kolobnev try before Huy, but if it comes to a Huy sprint, Rodriguez is there
Quite. What screwed it up was that RodrÃguez was horribly positioned at the start. Seemed to me like he was the fastest up the climb
Rodriguez was in the first 10/15 spots. I remember because when the Acqua & Sapone dude attacked i saw him at the front.
Yeah, you need to be 4th wheel, like Evans was.
Still, a very good win by Evans, I like it. Good racin'

IN YOUR FACE "Evans only sucks wheels and finishes second" BRIGADE!
He has always been one of the most attacking riders in every other race than the Tour de France. In the Tour he has rarely attacked at all, and since the average cycling fan almost only watches the Tour then Evans has gotten a reputation for being a wheel sucker. |

I wonder if anyone actually puts two and two together and realises that Evans can't attack in the Tour because he's normally on his limit? Always strikes me as odd that people expect him to attack then... still, what do I know.

Wiggins being interviewed on eurosport, complaining the Euskaltel rider was inconsiderate for crashing in front of him.
Then blaming that for finishing down in 67th even though he had several kms to recover.
Wait, WHAT????
Someone should punch Wiggins in the face. Poor Velasco crashed, was taken to the hospital with spinal cord damage, and Wiggins is complaining? What, does he think Velasco did it on purpose?
Unbelievable. The nerve.

How did I guess you'd reply almost instantly?
No, I can't link you to my TV
He started off with something like "The idiot loses control right there(...) Hit something I think [referring to Velasco hitting something on the road]" and went on to say he was mad as all hell that the guy was just sitting there [I assume he meant instead of getting out of the way], almost made him crash.
On a related note, he also mentioned he's building for the Giro, which on second thought is a bit odd. Surely he's going to the Giro to build for the Tour.

Well yes, youre slating Wiggins, and the only thing I can find about his thoughts - albeit from Cyclingews - he doesnt blame the Euskaltel rider, or call him inconsiderate or whatever.

Pathetic.
Am I no longer allowed to inquire, when the only source at current appears to be Portugese TV and You? The word of issoisso must be the word of truth clearly, with absolutely 0% chance of a misquote, misunderstanding, misinterpretation or whatever?

Call doddy and tell him his "even if it's obvious you're joking you must include a " rule doesn't work.
Alternatively we can settle this outside with a game of poker

Those islands are ours. We'll claim them just like Russia has claimed the Arctic - there's definitely an ocean bed that links the UK directly with the Falklands!!!

Like I said, Pathetic.
Its perfectly reasonable to want to find out more about the Wiggins quote, considering the nature of the quote, and where the quote is from.
And your first response to me asking? To laugh.

A rider's celebration is a rider's celebration, I find plenty of them pathetic, but when you win, it is your prerogative to celebrate how you want to.
I know my first win is going to have a pathetic celebration. |

I think he was a bit too exhausted to celebrate properly
