We can name this stage as queen stage. If Pacheco surviving this hills then he got a tour overall win also.
Pacheco is full of surprises. He is team best sprinter..was stunning in prologue. Today he can take hills one after another...when several teammates suffering
3km. to go...Johan Coenen atacking before uphill sprint.. Cesar Veloso follows..Pacheco knows this is moment to but everything out..he follows.
..and sprint..Coenen still leading. There is Dean Downing, Coen Vermeltfoort, Pacheco and Cesar Veloso.
Light blue team mates moving up..another stage win for Pacheco?
Cesar Veloso coming...
1-2. for Galicia. This success is great for team before Tour.
Tomorrow is final day for sprinters..

Final stage..
6 min breakaway advantage... Galicia team started to control a race..Sky and Rapha Condor helping out. They want a stage win.
Final 15..breakaway day is over. Now prepearing for mass sprint..Position battle at the front between ISD and Landbouwkrediet. Tempo is insane..
mass crash...Rabunal is there. He will lose he's 15th. GC spot there
CCC duo and Dean Downing separating.. Enrico Rossi at the middle is not out of the game yet..
Pacheco is completly out of the game today. He don't like fast speed sprints or it was just motivation issue today.
Downing takes a lead...
..and it was second stage win for Downing. He is also GC 3rd. great tour for Rapha Condor rider.
Galicia can be pleased..they ended theyr June with double GC win and KOM jersey.
Now we are ready for tour.

I am realist. Top 15 result would be enough. Without final 50km TT ride (Mosquera will loose at least 4 min there)..even top 10 is possible.
Pacheco for sprints..there is at least 10 guys who is known beter-faster -stronger sprinter then our nr. 1 man. Stability would be key word for him..always there..always ready..always max. out.
Main thing is..it is honor to be here with our small team.
Valverde has been several times already first man..who comes down from ramp..today once again..17. (+26 sec.) this is great start. He need to be in top shape..
you like him or not..but fact is that most famous Kaz. rider is back. Vinokurov..12. (+22 sec.)
Mick Rodgers 29. (+33 sec.)
Cancellara..there is always miracle when he wont win a prologue. He was looking good already in Dauphine and is stunning again today. He is fastest man ..and got himself another yellow jersey
Fresh Lux. TT champ Kirchen riding as Katusha nr. 1..16. (+25 sec.)
Menchov...strong ride. he is in the game...6. (+ 15 sec.)
Sami Sanchez..13. (+22 sec.)
Zabriskie..rider who is having world best TT position..9. (+21 sec.)
Kreuziger is here as Liquigas captain..8th. (+ 16 sec.)
Pacheco ..he has done this year few great prologues..not today..80th. (+49 sec.)
Brjakovic...5th. (+ 11sec.)
The moment..how much time he will lose today?..126. (+1'03). This is ok..I was ready for it.I did know that Mosquera will give away a' 5min. with TT stages It is normal start.
Leipheimer...great stage. 3rd. (+ 9 sec.)
..Andy Schleck 36. (+34 sec.)
Boasson Hagern 10. (+21 sec.)
fresh Germany TT champ. Voigt..15. (+24 sec.)
Best will be last Galicia rider at start..Cesar Veloso..31. (+33 sec.)
Contador..dream start..2nd. (+ 2 sec.)
man who is after 8th. TdF victory..Lance Armstrong..24. (+31 sec.)
..and last man today..Wiggins 4th. (+10 sec.)

Tour first week is not easy. There is danger to crash..there can be strong sidewind stages. There is almost always a little fast speed for climbers. We hope to survive all that before the Alps..and yes Pacheco will try on every stage.
First day is already windy day..There is 205km to go...and first hugh split is already reality. Just Oliveira and José Antonio De Segovia is in the first group. Mosquera is back there..also Cesar Veloso and Pacheco. But no need to panic..all favorites are in second group. They will come back..
It will be mass sprint after all. One hugh surprise..20km. to go..and one of top sprtinters Farrar can not keep up..
Arvesen mode..he is trying to escape before the sprint.
But sprinters are coming..Goss made a perfect lead out for Cavendish. Bennati is there...Cancellara...Anthony Geslin...Freire..Boasson Hagen
Bennati makes he's move..Cavendish is fading..probably light uphill and hard windy day caused that. Boonen is moving up..Boasson Hagen..Freire
Boonen passes Bennati..Freire trying to challange..
..and first sprint stage win go's for Boonen.
Pacheco was 13th. today...
I start also here Mosquera GC situation view..

over 100km. to ..crash. One Galicia rider is down..This is Cesar Veloso it is looking real bad.. He is able to move one. But it wont look ok..
...Radioschack first setback. Jani Brjakovic was also involved he is out of the tour..
72km. to ..one Rabo rider crashing. Who he can be? Ofcorse..Robert Gesink. There go's one GC contender..
He made a great ride after crash to get back in the group..62km. to go. Cesar Veloso can not keep up anymore. Should we take him out of the race? Lets wait until tomorrow. Mosquera will need him for shure..when mountains come
Final hill top..Little first action there..short Valverde, Anton atack. No need to panic..they will come back
..and sprint. Arvesed trying same as yesterday..early at the front and all out.. .
It is looking good for Arvesen..hilly stage spoiled many sprinters sprint ability..another corner. Is that Pacheco there..yes he is. Great riding..
Pacheco is closing. That is what we expecting to see..
..not quite. Arvesen takes the stage..Pacheco 2nd. is realy good start.

we continue...
50km. to go..Davis have a puncture. This is bad moment..he need to burn lot of energy to get back
11km to go...Cesar Veloso can not follow. He has been struggling all day. Yestreday crash has still side effects. We wait few more days. If it aint going to be better. He will go home.
But now sprint..HTC are working for Cavendish once again..Greipel is today lead out man. Freire is there ..Boonen..Anthony Geslin.
Then Geslin takes a lead..Boonen in green..Cavendish holding himself back. Lampre duo Mirco Lorenzetto, Petacchi.
Boonen started to pass Geslin..then comes Cavendish..damn he is fast!
First classic sprint stage and manxman takes first stage win..Pacheco was 15th.

70km. to go..and manager with rider decided to stop this torture. Cesar Veloso has been suffering after that crash in stage 2..Today he has been in trouble all day..tempo has been so far middle class. So this is it.. Mosquera most important helper nad Galicia team best TT rider is out of the tour.
Arvesen magic..this is already like tradition. If you want a stage win..you need to beat Arvesen first. Today he is was in early breakaway..5km. to go..and he's day is over.
..and sprint..Daniele Pietropolli takes the lead..
Pietropolli still leading..Leezer is Rabo rider at the right.Fast trio is coming..Boonen-Bennati-Pacheco
Boonen takes second stage win..he looks surprised.
Pacheco 4th. is ok result..he is holding points competition 4th place. Like I planned..stability

Casar crashing..this is big hit for Française des Jeux. He has been great. he was stronger then Mosquera at Dauphine..
Riders started to prepeare for sprint..and another crash..Fränk Schleck and Boom (they will loose 4'45)
This stage is all about sprint again..Greipel lead out for Cavendish.
..and there go's Cavendish..little to early?..Bennati, Boonen, Freire,Mirco Lorenzetto (who has been taking over Petacchi sprinter role. Ale-Jet is completly out of shape).
This company is to fast to strong for Pacheco..he can not be here today.
and first 3 separating.Boonen..Cavendish..Bennati. Bennati challanges Cavendish.
This is close..Manxman is lucky this time. He just made to keep a lead over the line. Boonen 2, Cavendish 2. Pacheco was 22. today..bad day.

Tempo has been all day realy unstable..Before day biggest climb..early breakaway was cought..Martinez decided to test he's legs.
..and he got over hill top first. 10 KOM points and he will wear KOM jersey tomorrow.
10km. to go..Ignatiev atack. Castano was ready to counter..but Ignatiev has sucj strong acceleration. He has small advantage
It was hard work..but Castano made it. Also another Katusha rider is involved now Timofey Kritskiy. Two against one situation. Castano is on the limit here
Uphill finish ...Joaquim Sampaio comes from behind and passes Ignatiev group..
He just keep on going,,Andrew Bajadali is new name in the front group. Castano trying to follow he's wheel..
..but you can not count Ignatiev out just like that. 1km. sign..and famous Ignatiev acceleration. Great power show...
Ignatiev takes a stage 2nd. Joaquim Sampaio (he is new tour leader)..Castano is happy to survive 4th. today. GC 3rd.
