Next race in our calendar is an amazing one-day classic in Italy. It´s Milan-San Remo.We took a really strong team-squad for this race.
Here´s a picture of our team for Milan-San Remo
Mark Cavendish is our team captain.Albasini will counter possible attacks on the last hilly sections but only if this is neccessary.Greipel tries to help Cavendish as well as he can.We hope that Cav can sprint for the win in the end |

MILAN-SAN REMO
Milan-San Remo is such a hard race but it´s also a lot of fun racing it!Our team is really strong and so we´re expecting a good result there while our sponsor is even expecting a top 5 result!!So we have to give everything today
There were some important names in the break such as Cioni and Paulinho. All in all they couldn´t get a great gap to the pack and with more than 55 kilometres to go they were brought back into the peloton
With 53 kilometre to go O´Grady started a really surprising attack.Of course we expect some attacks but not by him.We didn´t thought he will be too dangerous because of that Albasini went not after him
With only 40 kilometres to go the race became strange!O´Grady´s advantage to the pack grew every kilometre and so Albasini decided to go after him yet
On the last hilly section O´Grady was still in front by more than 2 minutes
Albasini lost many seconds now to O´Grady and to the pack which came really fast now!Hopefully this was not too late..
Last 10 kilometres for O´Grady and it seems that the pack will not reach him! This would be really bad for our team and for all the favorites
Last 5 kilometres for the pack.Cavendish is still there and his shape is great. The gap to O´Grady becomes less but mabye it´s too late
Last 1000 metres for the Australian! This will be one of the greatest results in his long career
The sprint begins behind him,Cav looks good while Boonen and many other great sprinters are far behind but still in this group
Cavendish takes the backwheel of Gilbert while Kolobnev and Flecha come on the right side.O´Grady is already celebrating ...
Congrats Stuart O´Grady!!This is a big surprise that he could hold on with this great solo ride
Behind.Mark Cavendish makes his move against Gilbert,Flecha and Kolobnev.Seems like he can get a great podium
Cavendish becomes slower and slower but in the end he can defend the second position. This is still a great result for us and for our sponsor!!They expect a top 5 results today and they got it!!

Yes of course that would be better
But I think we should be happy with this result also when the race was unlucky for all teams |

I think it's impossible to win Milan-SanRemo in a Masssprint. There are always riders who try to escape like O'Grady, Cancellera, Pozzato etc. |

Volta Ciclista a Catalunya
After the great results of Monfort at Paris-Nice and Mark Cavendish´s podium in Milan-San Remo we want to continue like this in March.Next race will be in Spain,Volta Ciclista a Catalunya. We decided to send not the strongest team there because of other hard races that will come really soon. Our leader there will be Kanstantsin Siutsou who hadn´t raced many races or stages before. Our main sprinter there is Matthew Goss from Australia together with Rabon and Sieberg he wants to shine at the sprints in stage 5,6 and 7.The competition is unbelievable strong!Hopefully we gonna see the first real fight between Team Radioshack and Astana, that means Lance Armstrong vs. Alberto Contador. But they are not the only big names.Valverde,A.Schleck,F.Schleck,Vande Velde,Leipheimer,Klöden,Wiggins,Gesink,Kreuziger,Cunego,Devolder,
Rodriguez,Gerdemann,Ivanov,Karpets and many more...
Ok you can see it will be an amazing race to watch. Our goal there is just to improve the shape and mabye get a stage win
Team Columbia for Catalunya
Frantisek Rabon
Matthew Goss
Kanstantsin Siutsou
Rasmus Guldhammer
Marcel Sieberg
Aleksejs Saramotins
Tejay Van Garderen
Martin Velits |

Yes I think Greipel improved his stamina and Monfort his mountain stat.
Maybe you can find more changes??
