How would you have rated Fuglsang's chances at this Tour de France by the way? Seems like he could have made quite an impact with so many TT kilometers and not too many high mountain stages.

Shonak: Podium at best. He would be fairly even with Nobbles on the TT's and lose time on the mountains and Schleck is a better TT'er than Duarte so I'm not sure he would be able to compensate for the lost time. Ipsen is a slightly stronger climber than Fuglsang, but still lacks some physique to produce top results.

Stage 18: Pau – Castelsarrasin
Back in Eddy’s terrain.
With Edvald's (and the competition's) form in mind we can’t expect too much help from the other teams so we keep the break under control right from the start.
Colnago and Santander starts chipping in the last 30 km.
Santander lead into the last 3 km and Hushovd delivers Eddy at the back of their train.
Edvald puts in another terrific finish.
It takes more than the likes of Swift to beat him in this kind of form!

It’s a hectic hase, but we get them reeled in and Thor delivers Edvald perfectly into the final 3 km
Swift opens his sprint very early with Kittel and Edvald in his slipstream.
Boasson Hagen follows Kittel unde la fæame rouge while Sagan comes blasting from behind.
There’s a reason we haven’t seen much of Kittel and another reason Eddy is in green.
Today both were obvious…

Time to get the GC settled for good.
Tony Martin is the big favourite as he always is when he starts in a TT, be he hasn’t looked as strong in the last mountain stages as in the first.
Edvald is expected to set the early reference time for the stage win and even the cows are amazed to see him pass two riders after only 20 km!
2’19 faster than Roux in finish and a hard time to beat – even for Tony Martin?
Even the sheep keep an eye on Van Garderen.
He is fastest on the intermediates but more than a minute slower in goal.
Der Panzerwagen is looking much less massive than usual today as he is nearly half a minute slower than Boasson Hagen on the first intermediate.
Tony Martin is second best in goal 48 seconds slower than Eddy!
Willy is 20th crossing the line. A bit below our expectations I have to admit, but we’ll see how far it can bring him.
It seems Nibali has his eyes on this one as he gets best time on both intermediates.
But as so many others he goes down on the final section and Edvald holds on to the lead!

Fantastic performance by Edvald, what a beast. Bit disappointed in Willy but I suppose there wasn't much left in his tank after this 3 weeks. Still he has performed really, really well.

Shonak: Willy has done well in a race with pretty much all the top 20 climbers. Edvald has timed his form just right while Tony Martin probably have used a lot of energy to stay in yellow for as long as possible.
Tour de France
Stage 21: Marcoussis – Paris Champs-Elysées
With the Tour Edvald have had this far we will be going for another win on the grandest stage of them all!
A lot of teams haven’t got anything from this Tour so we had a lot of support holding the break close early on.
The French champion Offredo leads the break into the Champs Elysèes just over a minute ahead of the peloton.
Our Jersey is shown beautifully in Paris.
Santander and Rabobank take over nearing the finish.
So today is the day the figured they should help Sagan/ Kittel.
Ipsen keeps Hushovd and Boasson Hagen near the front and Thor delivers Willy onto Kittels wheel and then makes sure to enjoy his last ride on Champs Elysses.
He is blocked a bit so he will need a strong finish
And that is exactly what he delivers!
Edvald not only gets his name in the history books: He gets his own page as he is the only rider to have won 9 stages in the same edition of Tour de France.

EBH does it again.
Unfortunately for Willy the more experienced Gesink took about two minutes in the timetrial but 7th is still a great result for him.
