... and the domination continues. There's really no beating Nordic Cycling when it comse to National Jerseys. Great to see Thor for the remaining season as the norwegian champion. He has done a lot to increase cycling's popularity in Norway I think. IKEA Cycling need to get their tactics better next time. All riders just sprinting might sound good on paper but it very rarely works in action.

And IKEA almost suceeded in their rather weird tacticts where as they wouldn't stand a chance against Ludvigsson in a regular sprint...

Preview

This year we will be revisiting the Tour route from the 2007 Edition

3 flat ITTâ€™s (116 km)
2 Medium Mountain Stages
6 Mountain stages
3 Summit finishes

Only AntÃ³n and Atapuma of the best climbers in the world are missing, so this is bound to be an explosive race.

Farrar and Appolonio are the only top-sprinters missing out so the bunch sprints will be explosive as well.

We will be targeting a good GC from Willy Ipsen. Hoping for a podium and expecting at least a top 10.

Edvald Boasson Hagen will be aiming for his 2nd Green jersey supported by Hushovd.

Nice Prologue by Edvald. Not much stopping Tony Martin when he is in top shape. Any hopes for a GC or does the team mainly focus around EBH and Hushovd and breakaway wins later on?
Oh, and don't forget to mention Olafurson!

So this year 7 riders managed to become double champions: Ludvigsson, UrÃ¡n, TaaramÃ¤e, Roche, Konovalovas, Brajkovic and Van Garderen.

Eusebio Unzue was finally able to announce that Iberia will be replacing Movistar as name sponsor of the team.

Club la Santa will be replaced by a familiar face â€“ at least for some fans: ONCE is back sponsoring cycling!

We seem to be in for a game-changing transfer season. Big profiles like Nibali, Kreuziger, Gesink and AntÃ³n is looking for new teams while several of the big teams will be losing most of their profiles.

Cofidis will be losing their three best riders, Liquigas have to let their top 4 go and Santander only keeps Coppel out of their top 5.
Nissan is losing a lot of good riders as well, but still has Quintana and Farrar on the team so things aren't looking too bad for them.

SSJ2Luigi: Not in terms of climbing, but Tosh Van der Sande has developed to one of the worlds best punchers and then they have Kittel for the sprints and Boom for the classics. So a lot of teams are looking worse than Rabo without good signings

Stage 2: London â€“ Canterbury

Thereâ€™s some small hills, but mostly they just introduce the mountain jersey.

Throughout the day we share the workload with Volkswagen.

Six riders have a 15 second gap going into the sprint.

Thor does a great job leading out Edvald. In the slipstream: Roelandts, Kittel and Demare.

Going into the final km the break is caught by the sprinters and itâ€™s time for Edvald to give it his final punch.

Roelandts goes past him with 700 m left

But the Norwegian had the most left and comes back right on the line!
What a sprint!

The Rider: Thanks If the Tour had bonus seconds Edvald would be in yellow, which would probably massively reduce the chance of more bunch sprints in the days to come as we wouldn't have Volkswagen helping out
