Vuelta a Mallorca Stage 1
Strong wind and with 10km to go the pack is split into 2 groups. Leipheimer, the main favourite to take the overall win this year, is caught in the second group, while Gadret, an another big name is caught somewhere between the 2 groups
Burghardt, Hagen, Boom and Karpets are in the first group from Columbia
Hagen is our main sprinter and he would be lead out by Burghardt and Boom, while some CSC, Quick Step and GLS are having some fun in the left side of the road
Burghardt is leading the pack right before the start of the sprint, but...
... Boom lost his wheel and now both him and Hagen are behind
So Burghartd slowed down and Quick Step took the lead for Paolini
But with 1 km to go Freire seems to be in the best position as he also has lead-out man in front of him
Paolini takes the lead after a great acceleration
And he takes the win, Quick Step did their job today
Gadret and Posthuma lead the second pack to the finish line, 1 minute and 26 seconds lost

Tour de Langkawi Stage 8
The breakaway.
Ignatiev attacked in the early metres of the last climb
Sanchez felt a threat and came after him
But Fuglsang and Meersman are coming too. Luis Leon could be in danger with 3 Columbia riders there
After a few kilometres we had a leading group made by Sanchez, Meersman, Cobo and Persson, who survived from the breakaway
Ignatiev, Gilbert, Fuglsang and Perez are in the second group
Persson isn't dead at all after the breakaway and he attacks from the front group
Though that Cobo or Sanchez didn't attack, Meersman had difficulties to keep it up with them
Fuglsang is coming from behind to get him back there
And it seems that it worked. Also Perez cam with Fuglsang
While Ignatiev and Gilbert are still behind
Persson is caught right before the final kilometre
But Meersman isn't really in the best position to get the yellow jersey from Sanchez. Fuglsang is somehow waiting for him there
The sprint starts with Persson, who now seems dead, Cobo and Sanchez in front
And Luis Leon Sanchez secures his yellow jersey with a second stage win
Meersman cracked in the last kilometre and lost 41 seconds, but still kept the 2nd place

well Fuglsang had no chance to take more that 1 minute over Sanchez, so I just tried to help Meersman with him and hope that Meersman could take more bonification than Sanchez at the finish but it didn't happen.

The breakaway.
Crashes in front of the pack with less than 15km left to ride!
Pfannberger hits one of the bikes in front and he is down
Freire went down too!
And another sprinter... it's Koldo Fernandez
Columbia survived so now Burghardt, Boom and Hagen are heading to the front of the pack
Burghardt is leading the pack again and this time Boom and Hagen are after him
Capecchi seems to be the only one able to stay in Hagen's wheel at the moment
Boom is now leading what could turn into a win for Hagen
But Benitez and Capecchi are close too
Though that he is not the best sprinter there, Capecchi seems to be the strongest
And he takes the win, Hagen second.

Tour de Langkawi Final Stage
This looks like going to end in a mass sprint
Pliuschin is using the wind to take a little advantage over the pack in the last kilometres
2 Designa Kokken are behind and also Meersman is there
Then is our train with Ignatiev, Van Heerden and Cavendish
The sprint starts with Pliuschin still in front but the Designa Kokken riders are close too
With Pliuschin going down Madsen takes the lead
Meersman seems to be the only one able to stop him
But he doesn't and Madsen takes the stage win

Martin is in the breakaway today
After the second climb of the day Martin and Arroyo went away from the other escapes
Behind them, Jose Ivan Gutierrez attacked from the pack
This looks good for them. 20 km to and the pack isn't too close so they have a good chance to fight for the stage win
Last climb of the day is about to start and it's more clear that the pack won't caught them
But they are caught after all. Not by the whole pack, only by Gutierrez
Gutierrez seems to be very strong and Arroyo pretty much cracked as only Martin can stay in Gutierre's wheel
Last corner and he made a gap between him and Martin. Though none of them will be able to take the yellow jersey as the pack won't lose too much time and neither of them was in the first group in the first stage
Gutierrez takes thes stage. Martin second but he is the new KoM jersey wearer
Boom and Karpets looked good today as they climbed good on the last climb

Vuelta a Mallorca Stage 4
Big breakaway group and they might have a chance for the stage win
They start the last climb with a pretty good advantage and this looks like the second winning breakaway, after yersterday's one
Behind the breakaway it was made a favourites group, which included Karpets, Sastre, Tankink, Pfannberger, Gutierrez, Gadret, McGee and Serpa
Boom is in the second group whit the yellow jersey Paolini, the green jersey wearer Bennati and the white jersey, Capecchi
Crashes in the pack. Martin is also about to crash!
Bad luck for Leipheimer, after losing time in the first stage he crashed today too
Karpets is trying to catch the escapes as some of them are close in the GC and they could take the yellow jersey
Meanwhile Boom left the yellow jersey's group to join Karpets'
The escapes fought for the stage win. And Rogrigues was the winner, who also seems to be the new yellow jersey
Crash in the favourites group with just 1km left to ride! Pfannberger is down
Boom and Karpets finished in safety and they still both have chances to win the race
This is incredible! Leipheimer crashes for the second time on this downhill, not a great start for him after a breakaway of a year
Martin hit his bike and went down again too. A Miche rider was pretty close to him so he joined Martin...

Nothing like Paris - Roubaix
This was a dangerous downhill with a lot of tight turns. Some riders crashed in the front of the pack and I was reciving messages like 7 riders crashed, 9 riders crashed |

Vuelta a Mallorca Final Stage
Martin is again in the breakaway, to secure the KoM jersey and who knows maybe the stage win
It was a 6 men breakaway but after the third climb of the day, which was also the hardest one Martin, Olmo and Salmon went away from the others 3
On the last climb the escapes are still in front and some of the important names attacked fromt the pack, even the yellow jersey Rodrigues
Karpets and Boom are going there too
With the escapes almost caught by the favourites, Martin feels that he has to attack and he does that at the end of the climb
He pretty much got away and now he has the first chance to take the stage win
Behind him, Boom is trying to do everything he can to get rid of Rodrigues
And the yellow jersey wearer doesn't look too good
Finaly Boom managed to make a gap and Karpets is trying to block the others with a fals relay behind him
Boom is about to catch Martin as he need to take some bonifications
But he let Martin take the stage win. Did Boom enough to take the yellow jersey and win the race? Well we are about to find out
Rodrigues didn't get any bonifications and his group finished 23 seconds behind the Columbia duo, which means that Boom won the overall rankings for only a few seconds!
