Can't say I've ever heard of the race though, but ofc, I'm not English
First edition of the race. On a motor racing circuit near Cardiff. In Wales Just another Crit for the British domestic calendar, which is full of them! The quirk being that it was organised by a Team Sky rider.
Piechele is strong in Portugal, was he serving a doping ban? I see he stoped racing for Colnago in may2012 and started riding in July 2013 for Ceramica and quite good rides from the start.

(And thanks)
Good to see the event go well, Luke Rowe is a good lad
Ouch! Pardilla lost 9 minutes. Rui Sousa new leader.
Volta a Portugal, Stage 8: Oliveira do Hostipal - Seia/Alto da Torre (166.3 km) (2.1)
Chernetskiy grabs his first professional win from a breakaway of 4. 2nd came the U23 World Champion of Cyclo-cross Mike Teunissen. Tour des Fjords, Stage 1: Valle - Stavanger (199 km) (2.1) Edited by Wilier on 16-08-2013 18:34
Veloso is hilariously inconsistent in TTs, he can put 2 minutes into Marque or lose 1, or anything in between

I think I've never seen such a big group reach the summit of Torre. It was a good stage nontheless. Tomorrow's TT could be Sousa's lifetime achievement, but I can hardly see him hold his 6'' advantage to Cesar Veloso. It's going to be interesting tomorrow.
Kristoff beats Belkin duo. Chernetskiy keeps the lead. 2nd Katusha victory in a row. This afternoon there will be a 24 km time trial. Tour des Fjords, Stage 2: Hjelmeland - Forsand (100 km) (2.1) Edited by Wilier on 17-08-2013 14:05
The Volta went to the last meters of the final TT between teammates
Surprisingly, Marque won ahead of Valoso by 3 seconds.
TT 1-2-3 for OFM. I'll try not to laugh
