Looks like you have quite some talent, aussie. Keep at it. I'd love to cheer for some Daily guys in the future on TV or CX Livestreams.

Seems like a bunch of you bring your smartphone with you on rides - how? Do you attach it to your bike, or?
I have a small saddle bag which I put it in, along with a spare inner tube, allen key, and a snack. I don't think theres really any danger of something happenining to it in a crash, it is fairly secure.
Good idea. I got a saddle bag too, so that might be something worth trying.
Anyway, got myself a new inner tube and finally figured out how to use that fancy pump - yes, I know this sounds stupid, but I really failed at this for the first 20 minutes until I checked out a YouTube video ... which I suppose wouldn't exist unless others have had the same problem as me
Should make my debut tomorrow - will look into the Strava stuff.
On the basic maintenance front I was very proud after firstly figuring out how to adjust my brakes using the barrel adjusters then stopping my chain wrapping round the pedals by adjusting the H screw of the front derailleur (not before I'd over tightened it so it wouldn't switch to the big ring obviously...).
This represents significant progress in my inept mechanical world

So many new faces lately, looks like SN's strava mention was really worth it. Welcome everybody to the group!

Looking forward to my UCI debut next weekend. Hadeland GP and Ringerike GP will be ridden on saturday and sunday. Will be extremely hard, but still fun. I hope to get as far as I can in the race; especially Ringerike will be difficult to finish as it ends in 10 laps of about 6 km and the riders a lap behind will be taken out.
Enjoy your time there. You'll gain experience and memories, if nothing else.
For what it's worth, try to remain at the front of the race or pack, that's where the pace is the smoothest takes a lesser toll, no matter that it's a big race or a smaller one.
And let us know how it went.

We'd need a "who's who" though, there's hardly a third of the newcomers that I could relate to a PCM.Daily nickname.
We've gotten some strong additions too, with guys obviously doing long rides (perhaps even on a Strydz scale), or fast ones. Getting on the weekly podium for the most km, longest ride or most D+ is going to be much more challenging now.

I really enjoyed my time as a top 10 distance regular (well maybe not as regular as I hoped )

Yeah, I'd appreciate a little who's who too. After all, it's the PCMDaily Group and not the "Getting your weekly effot smashed by unknown super-talents".

Well I think it's easy to work out who I am from the initials. The influx of new members will however show me up when my knee is fixed again, what with my 30km/h rides at best. Hopefully I'll be able to ride part of the Tour route soon though, which will be fun thanks to it all being resurfaced |

Yeah guys, you should really tell your name here, especially these guys that were active in last couple of weeks and are suddenly on top of the rankings list.
I don't think I need to say what's my name there, as there's no other Admir in that group and most probably neither on this site (rare name it is).

I'm not sure if it's really needed but since my username and my name on strava doesn't have much together. nor the fact that I'm dutch and wear a german jersey in that profile picture.
so this is me: https://app.strava...es/2415901
edit: since I posted here anyways. I improved on my top 10, I now have a fifth place in addition to my 3rd place

So the weather is FINALLY reasonable; should be going out some this week. Hope it doesn't storm again.

So its 3am and I can't sleep so I hopped on here and did my Giro bets so now time to get my gear together and begin my Everest ride. The weather report looks good, i'm completely Carb'd up but just a little sleep deprived. If all goes to plan it should shake out at 135 repeats over 350 k's and about 16 hrs moving time to bag 8848 vertical and my 2nd Everest, a few Hells500 lads are coming down during the day to ride some laps which i'm pretty excited about so if the body (and mind) hold together I might try and beat my previous successful attempt of 369.5 k's and 9000 vertical. Okay time to have some fun!
Oh and for anyone who still doesn't know what this is all about www.eversting.cc
If you check out the riding now part i'll be posting pics of my progress as the day goes. I am also stryderscycling on istagram.
