What a race by Tommy D! It was really heroic ride by him on stage 5 and on stage 6 everything worked as it should, finally.
He has a decent season including a 10th place in Catalunya and 4th in Romandie. It's a real shame he was sent to Giro to help Hesjedal, because it compromised his season quite a bit.

Why aren't Eurosport covering it
I'm not sure but I imagine it is the sort of thing NBC would get exclusive rights for, assuming they are the ones who would cover it.

NBC isn't covering it over here, it is being covered by FOX Sports for some weird reason, the race has always been covered by them.

Ah fair enough. Well I can't see a newscorp channel giving up exclusive rights.

Stage 3
Typical win for Lulu. Slagter gets the yellow jersey. Bardet continuing with amazing performances as well.
As well as Reichenbach, been one of best IAM riders this year, bit of a small revelation. Good to see Pinot back as well.

Shame that Slagter couldn't hold on to his jersey.
I don't mind Poels winning a stage though

great result again for reichenbach. bardet is someone to watch in the next years. is he more of a puncheur or climber?

Equally good in both to be honest. He had disappointing first two Ardennes Classics this year, but got 13th in LBL. And for sure he'll continue to improve.

He's not bad at hill, but he's definitely shaped like a climber though (not too tall, and very light).

It was a power output. In Portugal we had no picture of the last 3 km's of the stage.
