oh that's a shame concidering the fact that i had no TdU crash problems  and the TdF isn't from 2009 either right???

What he means is that you have to click the next day-button, not the Simulate Without Interruptions", etc.
However, if it still doesn't work, try going to your main PCM-folder -> CM_Stages, find top_pologne_1.xml (or something like that) and rename it to 08top_pologne_1.xml .

Keep in mind that this package was released in early February. It's way too early to include new race routes - it's something that takes time, a lot of time actually. Especially considering all the problems that comes with adding new race routes to the game (e.g. Tour Down Under and Tour de Pologne).
It's also worth mentioning that it's pretty much impossible to make the TdF at the moment since ASO still didn't release all the needed details. |

h ok but it's not a big deal, the game is still great to play and that's all that counts. i can wait for the 2009 routes to come out

If it crashes right at the end after loading the textures, it means either that
an equipment file is missing or wrongly named.

I've tried with several teams. And I've tried both the Tour of Qatar TTT and the ITT in Tour of California. So I don't think it is anything wrong with the stages. I checked out my frames folder and the "frame_BMC_tt" file is there. Along with many others. I just used the default equipment as they were all the same so I didn't change it. If I have to reinstall to fix this I won't bother with it though as I already restarted a few times and I don't wanna do the season opening over and over again. I was only wondering if it was fixable without reinstalling. As it is most likely that I'm missing a file or something. But thanks anyway. I can live with it. |

You mean all the teams? Umm... Tour of Qatar is already out of the Latest Results, but I could post a list of the teams in Tour of California. I've also tried the Time Trials in Paris - Nice and Tirreno - Adriatico and neither of them worked.
But the teams that were in Tour of California were: Trek Livestrong, Team Type 1, Saxo Bank, Milram, Katusha, Columbia, Silence - Lotto, Rabobank, Lampre, Kelly Benefit Strategies, Jelly Belly Cycling Team, Garmin - Slipstream, Fuji - Servetto, Colavita, Astana and there's only 1 rider from Bissell Pro Cycling. |

You said you were using the default equipment, which team are you playing as marble? I can check to see if there's a problem with its default equipment.
If it affects all TT's then I don't think it's to do with the AI equipment selections.

i didn't suffer from the TDU bug, but i installed the recent update to negate the national team bug etc, i prefer the 09 TDU profiles anyway i can get them back and keep the national team fix etc(maybe i missed a separate fix for that) without having to remove and install pcm08 again? |

If you're any good with the Advanced Editor, it's basically a matter of exporting the two DB's (V2 and V2.1) and then copy the TdU data from V2 in STA_race and STA_stage to V2.1. |

Well I've played with several teams. The one I'm sticking with now though is Saxo Bank.. So I think this is a problem that only I have as I bet more people would've had it by now if it wasn't. |

When i first installed this game, i couldnt do 3D races cos my comp didnt have enough RAM, so i got that upgraded and it worked fine. I installed the 2009 DB and the updater and again i cant do 3D races, it crashes and says something about the display driver. Before it crashes it goes to the start line and i can see that there's a lot of detail on the side of the road, this was never the case in the normal version cos i had the detail low. So in the update/database, was anything done to set the graphics/detail level high? And can it be changed?
Please help
I can open up the game enough to see how awesome the update is but cant play it!
Im running version 1.0000, so no updates, would this be a problem? |

I wonder why that equipment all have the same characteristics? the helmets, frames and wheels, have the same characteristics or in mountains, plan, and against the clock. The game is not as realistic way as it should, because there is equipment for the mountain, for the proof online and also against the clock.

As fenian mentioned, your settings are reset when installing the DB. You therefore have to 'redo' your settings in Options -> Graphics.
Other than that, I doubt that the DB is compatible with V1.0 |
