Another thing that's mentioned on almost monthly basis is the new British 'super team'. We still haven't got any official information about it, but we keep hearing rumours. E.g., it seems almost sure that Scott Sunderland will be leading it / being sports director at the team.
Anyway, today's news is that Sky Sports will be the main sponsor (they are already sponsoring the British track team), and that the budget will be of 58 million € (okay, looking at the number, I have to recalculate this ). Also, it's being said that they've already made an agreement with Mark Cavendish.

Please no. Please not a national trade team. It's happened so many times in the past and every time it brought nothing but trouble.
Nationalism is a disease, please let this not happen again. |

It's Sky, but Sky+ is a big Sky package (not sure if you have it in Denmark, probably don't) why Sky Sports is a Sports channel run by Sky. |

Im remaining sceptical until anything 'concrete' appears.
English link from a couple of weeks ago, which is probablly the same sort of thing that the danish site was on about: https://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/news/T...74681.html |

Well your conversion to 58 million euro is a lot closer than google's literal translation, which gives the new team budget as 400 million dollars |

Yeah, I hate that about Armstrong's comeback: real news have taken a backseat.
Also: welcome back Guido |

The 2009 Auber 93 team will be presented on the 26th of January at 6:45pm (French time). Their new website/updated one will also be launched that day.

And because I've decided to replace Tinkoff's gap, with Auber 93. If their kit looks nice, screw my overdraft, thats the first thing I'm ordering....

I can't bear Cervélo helmets, the same as Euskaltel ones. White and black
unbearable

I recently bought the catlike helmet, in the Euskaltel colours. It's very good to wear, much better than my old Bell! |

ARD has made a rather interesting interview with Robin Parisotto - he's the guy who made the first ever test to detect EPO, and he's also one of UCI's anti doping experts.
He says that there's a lot indications that Armstrong was doped. He mentions the many witness explanations in court cases, but more importantly, he also refers to the L'Equipe case in 2005. He says that from a scientifical point of view, the tests were valid, the methods were valid, meaning that the question "Is Armstrong doped?" is more a question of legal / law discussions than scientifical discussions - because from a scientifical point of view, he was doped in 1999, and if he says he wasn't, he's lying.
You can read the interview in German at this site:
