BBC's coverage was great actually they had 2 NFL stars who knew what they were on about and went direct to NFL's network coverage with commentators who do every game then when they went to commercials BBC went back to studio. Great really can't complain
That beats Viasat's danish coverage, every other hit was followed by one of the commentators calling that an incredibly big hit.
lol the BBC are waking up to the fact there are more sports than football now and i'm loving the coverage different sports are getting. NFL, (more cycling!) and loads of stuff. (Maybe there just getting back at ITV for taking the FA cup away)

well guys i'll be watching the Superbowl tonight and I was hoping that I wouldnt know the winner but 'Damn You TV!' I evaded all news channels etc. but then at night I thught I could savely check 'tele-text' well on the front page it said 'NY Giants win superbowl' and so I was fvcking pissed off that even though it isnt broadcasted in Holland (I had to tape it from the ARD) they do have that headline the whole fricking day on tele0text:x However I dont know a thing about standings, special stuff etc because apart from that I havent heard a thing about. I did watch the first quarter out of frustration that night but I think I'll watch it all over again tonight with some coke and a bag of Doritos (Nacho Cheese!!!)B)
and when I entered this topic I immediatly scrolled downwards so I didnt read a letter

yea and if it wasnt for tele-text I would have made it my friends are not a problem because they are not even aware (except for 1 guy whos from America but I rarely speak to him), I think of the fact that there was a superbowl except for 1 mate who has the same lesson-package as me but he was friendly and didnt tell me a thing

great game and great job by Eli, like Deion Sanders frequently said on the NFL Network 'I believe in you Eli!' and I think this wont be the only ring he'll win altough he also has to thank his defense alot which was great, they apparently knew how to beat the patriots and that was rushing, rushing and rushing that damn Brady the whole day and it worked
btw the dude who made that great catch is called 'Tyree' not 'Tyrene'

1) As a Chicago native and lifelong Bears fan I can only say good riddance to Favre. I respect his play and would like to see him continue playing if it was another team but as a Bears fan I have two favorite teams: A) The Bears, 2) Whoever is playing against the Packers.
2) You guys are making me feel old. Can't believe nobody knows Tom Petty. I grew up listening to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and listened to his solo work in college. Anybody who knows the movie Jerry Maguire will remember the scene where Jerry has left his agency, went to visit the family of the college prodigy QB and got him to stay with Jerry as his agent. Tom Cruise so pumped in the car to the airport he is trying to find a song that matches his mood and finally comes across Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'" and blurts out singing along.
Broncos WR Marshall injures arm in bizarre accident
By Adam Schefter | NFL Network
In the most bizarre off-season injury to date, Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall said he slipped on a McDonalds bag and wound up with his arm wrapped in a cast.
Marshall said he was at the Westgate Lakes Resort in Orlando, Fla. on Saturday and slipped and fell on a McDonald's wrapper. When he slipped, he said he stuck out his hand to brace his fall and it went through a TV entertainment center.
His right arm now will be in a cast for two weeks. Marshall also received stitches in his arm, but he did not know how many.
What he did know was that he was embarrassed. One of the league's most physical players was toppled by a plastic bag.
"I want to thank everybody for their concerns and let everyone know that I'm okay," Marshall wrote in a text message Sunday morning. "It's funny because I pride myself on YAC (yards after catch) and being one of the toughest players to take down once I have the ball in my hands.
"So for the next couple of days I'm going to take the time to build my confidence back up after allowing that McDonalds bag to take me down and send me through the entertainment center."
Marshall is scheduled to fly from Orlando to Denver on Sunday and will be at the Broncos training complex tomorrow. But he will be, at best, limited for the start of the Broncos offseason conditioning program.
