i cant be sure tho since i only took them from my memory, contador has 83 it might be that ricco has 81, acually now that i think of it it sounds more correct that he has 81 ops: |

Hey all I've a suggestion for all you stat-lovers
Download the advanced editor, or even Hannes editor v2(you can view, not change stats with hannes atm.) And download Dankans RNDB. Then use the editor to look through the officialrelease.cdb for all your stats needs
It's not that i don't want to help you out, but i don't want to clutter the story too much with all sorts of screens
But i can tell you this. Piepoli 82, Cunego 81, Ricco 81, Valverde 80, Pfannberger 78, Nibali and Barredo 77. |

Giro d' Italia - Stage 8
Landaluze is on the break today to get a few KoM points. He manages to come first over both tops today.
66km to go and Landaluze and his companions have about 4 minutes on the pack.
Landaluze will have to slow down to make it home today.
19 to the line and it's all sqaure. Landaluze slipped right through the peleton after his break. Time for the sprint, Fernandez is actually looking fresh today!
9km to go and Fernandez was in the 2nd slot behind Bennati but then this.. Rebellin is swiped by a motorcycle and it's sparks mass-panic! A whole bunch of riders go down! Fernandez doesn't go down but the Lampre rider in front of him went to the ground. He'll have to fight to get back into position now!
3,2km and the crashes just keep coming! Fernandez is trying to wiggle his way through them as he comes forward! Around 40 riders must've crashed by now!
2100m and the sprint is going. Astarloza and Fernandez sprint from their positions in the peleton, they never made it all the way up. Bettini is there in the middle!
1400m Bettini is fast but he has Zabel on his wheel!
And here comes Zabel! Zabel forces his bike in front, they're now going at the exact same speed!
And Zabel takes it! A win for the german veteran.

Loving the story and i dont love stats just wanted to know how good the rest your again are. Hopefully cunego & valverde and ricco crash by the looks of how many crashes there are do riders still ride through the wreckage and not fall on the new pcm?? Or do they go to the other side of the road im guessing its the first option or im pleasantly suprised |

If you look at the screen from 3.2km. That will happen 9 out of 10 times when rider go through a mass crash. Of course it isn't a 100%. But they will try and avoid crashed riders, and if they dont, there's a big risk of falling |

Giro d' Italia - Stage 9
And it's flat today, Fernandez should enjoy this for a change And we're looking forward to tomorrow, it's a long timetrial!
Coming into the last 3rd of the stage an 11 man breakaway has about 6 minutes on the peleton. The pace is high though and i they're losing time.
At the top of the hill the escapees are within sight. Fernandez will probably make it to the sprint today, so we're trying to figure out a good plan.
We use the descend to get a good position in the pack, 12,1 to go and it's gonna be a fast sprint!
We've found the wheel of Napolitano, Hunter and Zabel here
But Napolitano and Hunter veer to the left in a chance move to latch onto the train on the left! We stay as we're now in the 3rd position after Zabel and his leadoutman. Perfect!
But Zabel's launcher goes too late! We're forced to go full with 1500 to go!
At 1100 we're catching up to the front but it wont be enough! We definately picked the wrong train today! (this is becoming a bad habit!)
Valverde shoots forward! Can hunter hold him? 500m to the line and it's gonna be close
But Hunter holds on, great victory for team Barloword! We're just happy Fernandez participated today. And he was fast enough, but poorly placed.

Giro d' Italia - Stage 10
36km timetrials. We wont win it, but Astarloza is coming close to his peak.
Hopefully it'll take another day and we'll peak for the dolomites and the mountain TT. We are however expecting to take time on the other favorites, excpet maybe Valverde. Let's see how it unfolded.
Bodrogi sets the standard as he does what he does best.
Bruseghin is setting out here. He will be hoping to regain some of the time lost, allthough it will most likely be for nothing as he is bound to helping Cunego.
Here is another contender who's lost time. He is however a very strong timetrialist and the captain of his team. He can still get a decent result from this Giro.
Cunego is out on the road now. With 5 minutes behind Valverde, he will have to suffer today to limit his losses if he is to have any hopes at all this year.
Popovych, hoping to gain some time today. It's not all lost for him either if he is consistent from now on.
An update on the finishing times at the moment. Karpets is not very likely to be beaten at this time.
Ricco sets out. Not to gain anything, but to fight for his life to limit the time lost. Behind him in the queue is Astarloza and Valverde.. pressure is on for Ricco!
And here is our man of the day! Taking it a little bit easy on the first stretch we clock in 51 seconds behind Karpets. That's ok for taking it easy so far! 37th at the first check!
We've upped the pace at the second check, and with 5,5km to the finish we're now 27th, 1'38 behind Karpets' time. We're gaining on Ricco up ahead, we're gaining fast actually!
400m to go and we've really let it rip up that small hill to the finish. Ricco is nearly caught!
And we clock in at 1'13 behind Karpets! Wee actually gained 25 seconds on him in the final stretch! That's a strong finish and we're pleased
Valverde crosses the line, just 2 seconds faster than Astarloza. We'll allow ourselves to sit back and and be happy with this.

Reaction
Good ride by Mikel today. He's really getting close to top condition now and with a little luck, the Dolomites and the mountain TT will reflect this. But what we can take with us today is a buffer to the competition. Ricco is still close to us but the top 5 position is looking more and more likely.. i will hear nothing about podiums and such untill after the first 2 mountainstages are run. Then you can ask me again. |
