weather..
Did smart asses like Riis123 even noticed todays weather..
have you ever ridden race/ ride ..( i am not even talking about todays 6.30h. long race). When snowing, raining, wind, sunshine, snowing again.
How riders like Dan Martin, Visconti, Valverde etc. totally freezed even before new cobble climb.
Yes movistar controlled a race ..about 90km. to 35km. Then Ettix took over control..until Bentaqur weak and Albasini strong attack.
What a heck attack did you expect? In that weather with that kind of control?

Completely agree with Guido, here on Pcm it's seems more importan who wins than how the race is won.
Bs, don't you read the comments during the race? How often do people have to say it's boring until you guys can accept that people think it's boring. Coming up with the same lines does not help at all. Nothing happened until 5k to go. This is a the oldest monument in the calendar and there is no racing happening at all. Deal with it that I am not happy with that lack of entertainment.
Btw. i have simple theory about the boring side of Ardennes and that is because there are often favourites who have "boring" style, like Gerrans, Valverde, Rodriguez or other hilly men.
Wiuth Sagan, Cancellara, Boonen, Vanmarcke or GVA you have all the action, because those guys wanna win in style, not wheelsuck into last 2kms.
Or maybe that is just the right way to ride a hilly classic, but i found that rather dull as spectator.

Nice finish, Albasini did all the work and still hung on for second
Btw this is also called 'doing a Boogerd'
He always did this and then some Italian would profit

$agan should ride LBL soon. With the conservative, lame duck way it's ridden past few years, he has a shot at it with his okayish climbing - and if he does not, we may see an exciting race full of attacks by some puncheurs..
simple Win:Win situation.
Except for Mollema and his Top 10 ambitions if $agan joins Trek.

Should i give my mate Shonak a like for such a good idea and humour, or a dislike for that shitty nickname with dollar symbol. Hmmm, will give a nice idea!
