Yeh i said that this tour might be taken on the TT karpets should take it in his stride but he might not win if Rogers fancies his chances
Rogers??
isn't he miles back?
or do you mean the stage win? because the stage is completely open, I'd say. no idea who'll take it.

I don't think so either, but....you never know who's going to do well. there isn't anyone who you'd just say "he'll win with 90% certainty". it's very close.
even Efimkin can win the overall. well...then again...he'd have do the TT of his life...

I was more referring to the impression I got from every single TT that I've seen him do that he's a horrible Time Triallist.

Efimkin..you bet he wants. He dont need to hold down and think to the TdF. Even all TdF favorites go's 100% in TT always |

Michael will not win the TT for sure. I didnt start todays stage because of some minor problems with his knee. |

of course he will. the question is, can he hold his slender lead? Kirchen and Karpets aren't very far. and the TT isn't exactly short. it's not that long, but can he hold on?
it'll be interesting.
the only TT specialists I see here are still off-form (Voigt, Dekker, Klöden, etc), so it'll be interesting to see who can win. I really have no idea.

Yeah, I know Cancellara and Dekker 100% sure will go for full. Thomas already announced that. To be honoust I thought he'd take it easy today, but appearently he wanted another test. |

I didn't say Karpets was a shoe in. I said he had a good chance. just like Kirchen. can't see anyone else doing it, barring a small miracle from Efimkin.
and no, that's not being an idiot.
being an idiot would be saying Vinnie Jones would win the overall
GC within a minute:
Vladimir Efimkin (Rus) Caisse d'Epargne
Kim Kirchen (Lux) T-Mobile Team +24
Vladimir Karpets (Rus) Caisse d'Epargne +30
Matteo Carrara (Ita) Unibet.com +31
Frank Schleck (Lux) Team CSC +33
Damiano Cunego (Ita) Lampre-Fondital +57
hence why I say only the top 3 are in with a chance
unless of course there's a surprise attack tomorrow

stage!
uphill sprint finish today, unless a break makes it
situation:
28.5km to go, break of 11 including Sastre and Ballan with 1:40 advantage
peloton chasing mildly hard. will get caught.

my German isn't that good, so they may not have been referring to today's stage, but..
the DSF guy just said something about the stage ending at the Young Boys' Wankdorf stadium.
plenty of material for childish puns right there.
back to the stage, they're on cobbles now!!
And I'm now 100% that the break will be caught
