What a way to end the race by Yates. Awesome to see him do so well in his first Avenir. Stage win and 6th place in the GC is way better than I ever hoped for. Seems like he thrived among the Bank of Ireland riders!

Shikai and Kirsch riding together to send Kirsch to the race victory, love it! They already more than earned their Vesuvio stripes in the Tour, supporting Andy and going for breakway success too, and now they team up on Lecuisinier for a perfect outcome.
Kirsch will likely never win another stage race, as I don't intend to ever sell him to a lower division, so this is a really nice achievement. That's an Avenir record of 10th to 3rd to 1st, great continous improvement.
Disappointing race for Morton, 5th overall is not even his best Avenir result. As has already been referenced though, next year is his big chance of glory.
Great reporting throughout even if a few near miss AI fails tried to disrupt proceedings! This race is a highlight of the MG season bringing together riders from all divisions.
Nutresa pleased to see young Dayer Quintana come away with a stage top 10, 3rd in KoM, and just outside top 30 on GC. On loan Campos also steadily improved as the race progressed. Thanks to Mobil for hosting our young riders on this mini TdeF.
