I really don't see the discussion unless you are new to cycling and don't know stats of riders if so then i guess FDB is fine to use. Oleg`s graphics are better and the stats are not even comparable FDB use very revolutionary stats, especially the flat which makes no sense putting so high. I would say A.S.O is by far the best one out to date, i might even chose it over Daily`s this year.
But for career purpose i am not sure which one is better but i noticed this one have a ton of free riders, only downside for me is the teams included and those who were removed like Etixx and NTFO, Personally i would have wanted more south and North american teams included but that's just me Edited by Naskela on 04-08-2014 19:54

what I was messing around with was the idea of startlists on your DB. You got a great DB and I would like to try out some startlists to get correct riders in races for this year.
The issue with Impey and Ulissi is that I´m not sure if they pop up in the teams they rode for earlier this year. Since you made them Free riders. It might work anyway.
If I create a startlist for Amstel, Milan-San Remo, Tirreno-AdriaticoI would very much like to see Impey in Orica Team.
His doping and ban came later and was not in force at that time. Ulissi rode in several other big races including the Giro and trying to recreate correct startlists for those races should include these riders.
You said that Cadel Evans was under a ban in your DB. How will this intervene on a start in the Giro ?. Perhaps one could lift the ban or what.
Startlists is after all something in the past. If one go for career mode it will be different.
To reflect I believe that riders like Lance Armstrong is in Historical Databases even if he was riding all those year under the influence of enhancing stuff.
I will try out some startlist on your DB when it is properly inserted in the correct places.

Don't ge me wrong, your database is close to perfect and I'm really enjoying it.
I just expected the potentials to be different because I didn't know about the XML stuff, that's why I assumed the potentials were still the Cyanide potentials.
But it all makes sense now.
