I think it's a moot point. Kashechkin will bury himself working for both and will take quite some time to fade. once Kash is burnt out, they should be near the finish and by then it's every man for himself.
after a few stages, the leader will be whoever is in front. anyway, Vino won't attack as soon as usual. he can't. he's the big favorite and isn't dumb enough to do that in the position he is in.
ok so he's a big favorite but honestly unless he's in yellow in the last week you dont think he's going to be attackin his ass off...Its in the Kazakh blood, now he wont go in pointless breakaways as he has in the past but in the mountain's i bet he draws first blood. With a team around him that is as good as it is he will use them to protect himself until the slope goes up. After that it'll be just as it has been all season on Team Astana, Kloden Vino n Kasheckin will relay together until they seperate, with kloden n kasheckin taking long relays...but as far as kloden competing w Vino I dont see it happening unless Vino performs badly. It's been reported by several sources that Vino n Kloden have an agreement for Vino to lead this year Kloden next year. Kashekin will go for Stage wins. |

the way things are now, I doubt he'll even be at the tour.

don't worry, he's not doping. he's been sick for weeks now.
when the team announced the squad for the tour they said right away that Grabsch was standing by if Rogers didn't recover from his knee injury or Guerini didn't recover from his stomach problems that made him retire from the Tour de Suisse.
this stomach virus has been going around in the peloton since february.
Cavendish was the first to get it, and many people have suffered. it's the same reason Danielson isn't at the tour.

I wish it started already....mostly because it would mean I'd be on vacation...or at least one exam away from it
anyway, I like Saunier's team. like in the sense that it's very diverse. looking good for a stage win. but not in the mountains

It's a shame that Manchante isn't in their team because of illness. He's an amazing climber, and it would have been interesting to see what he could deliver -- maybe a top 5? |

Yes I can share that...shame that Marchante is out. Last year I didn't cear about that yellow shirt team. But this year they are deffinetly one of the most sympathetic teams.
I must be blind..but I like T-Mobile list. |

Since Vino might be out and even if he is in he is without his dope, I'm going with Levi.
But gosh darn, i just want a clean TDF. I mean seriously, cmon..just one clean tour, just one glimpse of how it used to be....gosh darn it... |

Good choice Phanekim. knock on wood but i think that this tour will be clean and the winner might be an American Born in Butte and residing not so far away from where i live and training on the same roads i train on. |

Yeah, it would be great to see the first TdF-winner since 1995 (according to ASO, that is) |

As usual, I have to agree with you Guido. T-Mobile loaded up their lineup with the best they've got. They've lost their three main guys since last year but I admire the fact that they are still going for it. Should be fun to see how Cavendish fares in the sprints and I think that Rogers has the potential for a top 5 although I hear he's been struggling with injuries lately.
Also, it's clear that Caisse is going for it. No surprise really given that they have Valverde but they loaded up their big guns for the TdF this year.
In contrast, Liquigas looks like they are sending in a bunch of B-listers (other than Pozzato but what can he do without good team support?). Also, Bouyges is as weak as ever. I read on cyclingnews that the team is not even going to put forth a leader. Everyone for himself, I guess.
But I'm ready for Le Tour! My wife convinced me to get DVR so that we can tape all of the stages and then watch them without commercials! So I hope that the coverage on Vs. doesn't suck wad like it did last year.

Well, if you believe in rumours, then you'd have to go back further than that. Lots of rumours that Indurain was doped to the gills throughout his 5 wins. Nothing substantiated through (just as is the case for Armstrong ) |
