Wurz has retired from F1 with immediate effect, he will therefore not be in Brazil.

in such short notice, Nakajima will definitely be in the car....or worse yet Karthikayen
the japanese guy who's fast but rams into everyone at the slightest chance or the indian who's slower than a wagon? decisions decisions...

I know, but Williams are more likely to test out the Japanese guy who could drive for them next season than Kartikheyan who definately wont be driving a Williams next year.

next season it will be interesting who will drive along Rosberg, but Nakajima's only chance is if Toyota demand he gets the seat (which is possible), otherwise he'll be back in GP2. he's extremely given to crashes.
which, by the way, is a trait common to every single japanese racing driver for some reason.
anyway, Liuzzi is by far the best option for Williams, but I'm not sure they'll sign him. could be Glock if for some reason his near-done deal with Toyota falls apart.
they could also get Piquet Jr. if Renault pass him up, which is a possibility, given that Renault are disenchanted with his horrible attitude. Williams has a history of doing well motivating drivers with bad attitudes. it's probably something to do with Patrick Head having the worst attitude of anyone (at least in the words of pretty much everyone who's ever worked with him).
then again, I don't think any Brazillian will work with Head after it came to public that Head is responsible for Senna's death...so Piquet Jr. might be out of the equation after all.
it's up in tha air, really

Ferrari officially announced today that Felipe Massa has re-signed with the team until 2010.
I applaud them for realising that despite Massa not having a reputation for being fast, he has in fact been the fastest Ferrari driver this year

the politicking inside Ferrari is amazing....then again, that's normal at Ferrari.
no one knows what's going on exactly, but one thing is certain: people inside ferrari are working in different directions and against each other... and it's going to blow up soon.
to show how screwed up it is: it's not certain Massa will stay at Ferrari despite having just re-signed until 2010
plus, Jean Todt now has joint ventures with Renault's Flavio Briatore...and he's probably leaving Ferrari at the end of the year...
it's screwed up...
