Great
Just a heads up to all the final stage of the Tour of Slovakia is on the last page, in case you miss it because of the new page!
Its almost that time of year for the signings, so I really cant wait to get to July! I'll have the next few races probably done as fast as possible which means a report or two a day of which will include more than one race report at once, more than likely.

Yeah it was a good stage! Just too bad Hunal didn't move up in the GC.

3rd and 4th was a good result for the guys
But Hunals 15th place on the GC was well deserved |

Indeed, especially on since it means I'm starting to get the hang of Extreme already!
For sure, wish it could have been more though, and it probably should have been. Nice to get the KOM though as well.

Riga - Jurmala GP (1.1)
June 8th, 2013
We have the first of two doubleheader classics here in Latvia! Both are fairly typical circuit races, although today is the flatter of the two days, and will be more suitable to a sprinter, like Fenn or Rowe.
At the end of the day, it was not a day for the sprinters as Kusztor held them off for the solo breakaway win, a real strongman effort from him. The neutral fan might have liked the sprinters to have their way today, but the tailwind today really helped the solo rider to the win!
1 | Peter Kusztor | Utensilnord - Ora24.eu | 4h00'56 | 2 | Yannick Eijssen | BMC Racing Team | + 42 | 3 | Luke Rowe | Sky ProCycling | + 1'52 | 4 | Tomasz Kiendys | CCC Polsat - Polkowice | s.t. | 5 | Bakhtiyar Kozhatayev | Continental Team Astana | s.t. |
Jurmala GP (1.1)
June 9th, 2013
Todays race has essentially the same teams as yesterday, but surprisingly there are different riders here! Our man for today is Krotky however with a lot of quality sprinters here, even some on PT level it will be tough for him to crack even a top 10 finish.
With 4km to go, OPQS has formed the leading sprint train, for their two men, Trentin and Fenn. They are looking strong, but Lampre for Cimolai is also coming on the far left side from this shot as well as Alpha Baltic in the middle in pink. Krotky tries to follow Trentin, but he said after the stage, that these PT riders just move so fast compared to what he's used to in the Conti Tour!
As we see the sprint begin, it appears the two major trains have gone too early, and the other sprinters from behind are closing in on them! Vasylyuk makes a strong move through the middle and heads to the front! He holds off all challengers in the last 50m to take the win as well! A bit of a surprise winner, but he's still a top sprinter from this particular startlist. 11th for Krotky is honestly a great result considering most other sprinters here are a lot better than him.
1 | Andriy Vasylyuk | Kolss Cycling Team | 3h28'25 | 2 | Emils Liepins | Alpha Baltic - Unitymarathons.com | s.t. | 3 | Leonid Krasnov | RusVelo | s.t. | 4 | Krisztian Lovassy | Utensilnord - Ora24.eu | s.t. | 5 | Marco Benfatto | Continental Team Astana | s.t. | 6 | Matteo Trentin | OmegaPharma - Quick Step Cycling Team | s.t. | 7 | Robert Wagner | Belkin Pro Cycling Team | s.t. | 8 | Boris Shpilevsky | Lokosphinx | s.t. | 9 | Grzegorz Stepniak | CCC Polsat - Polkowice | s.t. | 10 | David Cimolai | Lampre - Merida | s.t. | 11 | Rostislav Krotký | AC Sparta Praha | s.t. |

@ Miguel - Thanks a lot! You are correct. I'm pretty happy with 11th. Looking at the sprint stats he is about 2 lower on average compared to the Top 15 there and really low ACC too.
@ baia - Thanks I hope I'll slowly get better on Extreme, so there is more to talk about
@ The Rider - Yeah Luckily the team can afford it Of course due to the team being so small and with overlapping races we have one guy in Slovakia one day and Latvia the next, but there is nothing I can do The teams got 11 riders

Tour of Malopolska Stage 1 (2.2)
June 13th, 2013
This 3 stage, stage race is going to be tough for the team! We want to do well on the flat stages, but the hilly final stage is where we think we might be able to do something with Hunal in particular. Overall we aren't going to be too sad without a result here, its more tune up for the Nationals in a little over a weeks time!
Stage one came down to a mass sprint, and the pace was again very high for our own riders. Krotky was our best placed rider, but he could only sprint for 11th place. Shpilevsky takes the sprint, and shows his strength here! He's been a thorn in our side in a few races this year, but today he was on another level!
1 | Boris Shpilevsky | Lokosphinx | 3h13'55 | 2 | Sergey Shilov | Lokosphinx | s.t. | 3 | Matej Jurco | Dukla Trenčín - Trek | s.t. | 4 | António Ferreira Carvalho | LA Aluminios - Antarte | s.t. | 5 | Luka Pibernik | Radenska | s.t. |
Tour of Malopolska Stage 2 (2.2)
June 14th, 2013
Stage 2 is a bit of a mix of the first and last stage. Its got quite a rolling profile and the pure sprinters may have difficulty getting over the hills.
And due to the nature of the profile it was the perfect day for a breakaway! Sabido made a move with 30km to the finish, and had to fend off the charging pack but was able to do so and take the solo victory! Milan Kadlec brought the peloton home a mere 23 seconds later and Krotky had a much better day finishing 6th!
1 | Hugo Manuel Madeira Sabido | LA Aluminios - Antarte | 3h23'05 | 2 | Milan Kadlec | ASC Dukla Praha | + 23 | 3 | Boris Shpilevsky | Lokosphinx | s.t. | 4 | Sergey Shilov | Lokosphinx | s.t. | 5 | Edgar Miguel Lemos Pinto | LA Aluminios - Antarte | s.t. | 6 | Rostislav Krotký | AC Sparta Praha | s.t. |
Tour of Malopolska Stage 3 (2.2)
June 15th, 2013
Finally we are here for the finale of this exciting race! Today will almost certainly be a day for the puncheurs. Some sprinters can get over the hills though, and Sabido is someone that could hold on to his GC lead today!
The final hill brought all of the action today, with pretty much all of the favourites making attacks, including Hunal who finished 14th on the day and the eventual stage winner, David Wöhrer who managed to make a gap between himself and the others. Later in the climb, his solo run was more or less brought back by the others, however he could still be happy with himself as he won the stage! No timegaps were made, between the men that mattered so that means Sabido is the overall winner!
1 | David Wöhrer | Tirol Cycling Team | 3h15'23 | 2 | Evgeniy Shalunov | Lokosphinx | s.t. | 3 | Daniil Fominykh | Continental Team Astana | s.t. | 4 | Jaroslaw Dabrowski | Amore & Vita | s.t. | 5 | Hugo Manuel Madeira Sabido | LA Aluminios - Antarte | s.t. |

@ baia - Thanks. The past few races have had quite strong fields. Its been a bit of a coincidence that I switched to extreme at the same time
@ sutty - Yeah! He had a great race
@ HaRe - Nope it isn't
@ Miguel - Yeah, the team is starting to like 11th place
@ all - thanks a lot for commenting consistently The amount of comments have gone down a bit as of late, I guess because of school starting up again, so to those that have stuck around, it really means a lot!

Ah no worries Ian. You are still one of my most consistent commentors. I would guess you post almost every update I have.
