Cunego will certainly find it a whole lot more difficult now. With only the relatively easy Pierre-Carrée left to finish atop, it's going to require something insane in order for him to win.
A bit funny to see that all the top 4 names on the stage begins with an A, by the way

Nice try Kreuziger, nice try Kulhavy, nice try Henao. But this Tour de France won't be really a big success for me, big disappointment. Hopefully at least a small miracle will happen in the next stage.
It looks like Madrazo has this in the bag. Hoppefully I am wrong, because he will have many chances to win this race in the future, the living legend Cunego not likely.

Maillet has been one hell of a surprise this season, p3druh must be happy.
Madrazo confirms the win, super performance from him. Cunego tried, but it looks like this Tour is the pass of him to Madrazo. Tomorrow the Champs - Elysses, can Bennati take another win? |

Who would thought at the start of this Tour that Nepomnyachsniy will finish higher than Henao Montoya.
Nice try Yevgeni, 3rd place is a nice surprise. Between favourites, no big surprises. At least SLHM picked up a nice place in top 10 once again.
Congrats to Santander.

Sorry guys I forgot to add the list of riders withdrawing, so for those who have already read the report here they are:
I'll add them in now.

Congrats to Santander!
And very nice reports Count eventhough it didn't read them as thoroughly after stage 13

Well done Madrazo and mb! Madrazo is quite the legend.
Bummed that Amador got taken out of his high placing, but 6th is a position that I can't complain about. It could have been a lot worse!
This is all assuming that nothing goes wrong tomorrow

A really good tdf, deserved win by Madrazo even though Pluschkin could've made this race much more exciting...
Edit: Yay, none of my last 3 riders withdrew!
Also thanks to Count for great reports (yeah, I'll say that now before the champs stage)

My riders sure doesn't fancy them attacks. I can't seem to figure out the game there.
I don't have any jerseys to protect, I don't have any leaders and I have three riders perfectly suited to attacking on hard and semihard stages: Chris Anker Sørensen, Tim Dees and Pierre Rolland.
Puma got their team shredded here big time, and it's getting increasingly interesting to see who is going to take the full responsibility for bringing that final stage together. I can only hope for another strong Guerao performance. Green is out of the question due to the heavy amounts of mountains. A little bit sad as he has been the top sprinter so far, with 3 stagewins a 2nd and a 3rd place, and he has got a real possibility of holding Bennati behind him, if he doesn't lose out to him on the final stage (I know it's speculating, as Bennati is clearly better).
3rd in the sprinting competition can be made I suspect - I don't know how many points are delivered but I guess 25 to the winner.
One more flat stage instead of a mountains stage could have given either Guerao or Bennati the green jersey or atleast made it close. Madrazo to win both the Green and the GC is a massive points haul for Santander.

Thanks for all the kind comments about the reports throughout the race guys, they always make it easier to continue and they always ensure that I want to keep up this same quality of reports.
I'll be taking a break from reporting for a while now (a combination of being a bit burnt out, Uni getting busier then studying/holidaying overseas) so I'm glad I could go out with a bit of a bang. Of course I have some things I want to put together that will hopefully improve the ManGame.

Overall, a good race for me. I achieved my top 5 goal (which was a surprise). To bad i missed out on the KoM in the last mountain stage.
Still no win this season though.
Great reports btw, very enjoyable to read!

That was an amazing end to Tour de France for us! It was just brilliant to finally see one of Augustyn's many attacks hold on to something valuable. A second place on the final mountain stage is just huge. Congratulations to p3druh! Maillet has been outstanding this season.
Bennati must have messed up badly on that final stage, probably launching his sprint way too late? That was a pity when Impey finally managed to get himself in a great position, but admittedly he isn't much stronger than 7th in such a field anyway. Though, he could come back stronger next year
Big congratulations to mb2612 for the overall win and a huge points haul. That should see some serious tension in the battle of avoiding relegation. Must admit I have no idea where we stand right now, hopefully we're still safe.
Also big wins by Guerao this Tour, proving he was worth a "makeover" in the pre-season. |

Great finish here.
One more flat stage and I could have been targetting green. I hope Guerao has plenty more in the bank for the coming years. This was an absolutely epic Tour de France for us looking at the lack of strength we put here.
4 stagewins from Guerao is just beautiful.

What a great Tour. Congrats to Count for such a huge effort. And obviously to mb as well. Skytander absolutely devoured the various classifications.

Mohs - the winner of Lanterne Rouge - tried his best in sprints, no complaining. I can blame myself for not sending strong support team, but I didn´t expect we´ll try to build own sprint train with this line-up.
On the other side, Kern was a huge disappointment. He was sent to race to be agressive, but he was just invisible. Credit to Stef Clement for taking his role during all TdF.
Congratz to all who suceeded and thanks for reporting!

Well a stage win is amazing. Van Heerden's tour was another disappointment cumulating in a late abandon takes the shine off for SRB.
Madrazo adds his second grand tour, who knows what his future holds? His win was on the calculating side, but he slayed Cunego so no-one can complain.
You look at Pluchkin and Bennati and wonder if either have contributed to their teams downfall into relegation here.
Edit: Huge congrats to Count - great reports mate!

Looking forward to the complete points list, can't really figure out what to expect. I think I'll get aproximately the same out of this race as I did from the Giro, but that the best teams obviously will gain much more that in the other 2 races.
3 decent GT's atleast considering the team I brought.
The next couple of races should be much better in term of GC, but I can't expect anything like this in the sprints. This was extraordinary, but I suspect it has got to do with Lavoines national bonus - Sinners aswell.

Awww, so close getting the double! Still decent sprinting by Granjel Cabrera.
Really satisfied with a top 10 in the GC by Pedraza, even though it wasn't on pure merit.
Good reporting CountArach
