May I have some decorum in this thread please, I hate to say it, but I have got some BAD NEWS...
When the Red Wings fail to win the cup, or even make it to the finals, you will have spent all your time cheering for nothing.

Maybe for someone that is only a "fan" if their team is doing well. I have no problem cheering for my team, even in a losing effort.

To be completely honest with the season we've had getting to the Finals would be an added surprise, not an expectation really. Wouldn't even be too disappointed if we lose in 7 to Boston.

Plus I think you guys can be really happy with the emergence of all those young guys! Nyquist looks like a 70 point player. Tatar looks really good, Dekeyser I think is good, Kindl, Smith, Mrazek is going to be a great goalie by the looks of it, Jurco, Sheahan, etc.
That is what needs to happen with the Canucks. We need to have a bunch of young guys like that can all push for a spot. Right now, Im not sure many realistically can. The "turnover" from the old Red Wings of 4 or 5 years ago has gone really well for Detroit and of course Datsyuk and Zetterberg are still near the top of their game.
Its okay, jdog! So many Jets fans here are like that, and I hate it.

Serial ball-tapper Milan Lucic only gets a $5,000 fine for spearing DeKeyser. I think he's done this to Emelin before...

Come on...
$25,000 for grabbing your own balls, 1/5 of that for spearing someone else and potential to do damage to someone elses. 
Perry's spear was the worst though. He actually speared Benn, while Lucic kinda just lifted up between his legs.

Well he didn't have the puck, so I doubt he was expecting a hit. He was just turning around along the boards and Seabrook expected him to grab the puck but he didn't.

Wings - Bruins getting real chippy in the first, nice to see that we are at least standing up for Howard/other teammates but there's no way we are going to beat them at their style of play.
I wanna see a fast second period...and if there's anything I've learned this season it's never to count this team out.
