Indeed a nice start for Thomas, Wilco is just 1 second behind though. We are focusing in GC while Geraint will have some problems in stage 6. Anyway congratulations. |

190 KM TO GO
Grabsch/CCC and Bole/ING have a small lead of 40s
180 KM TO GO
They have been joined by Hunt/CAT, Bauer/TCW and Tuft/TLI
170 KM TO GO
They have a lead of 5m 24s
160 KM TO GO
The peleton don't seem to worried at the moment
150 KM TO GO
Hutarovich/SGM is losing contact with the main field
140 KM TO GO
The lead has grown to nearly 9m
130 KM TO GO
The pace has been picked up by the peleton
120 KM TO GO
The break is still working well together despite the fact that the lead is beginning to come down
110 KM TO GO
Despite the cold temperatures at least the rain is dry
Inside the last 100km and the advantage is now 6m 14s
MCS and TAM are in control at the front of the peleton
Van Avermaet/ABC has decided to chase the break down on his own
He has caught the break and goes straight to the front to force the pace
The advantage is 3m 10s
Only 44 riders remain of the peleton as the race splits apart
As tiredness begins to show, race radio confirms that the lead is now below 2m
The cobbled sections are making things a lot harder
Twenty kilometres to go and Van Avermaet/ABC has decided to go it alone
Gilbert/LPU has come from nowhere and has him in his sights
The catch is nearly made
Under the flame rouge and who is going to be the strongest at the finish
And its Gilbert who claims a Brilliant victory

Hmm, quite disappointing result for ING.

Shame to see Ulrikkson so far down the field, we had high hopes for him here... Hopefully he'll be stronger in the "non-lost" classics!

Opposite for me really, great win here, but it means nothing if I can't get results in the real races
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
