So do I.. Argos is quite one-dimensional, but they got 2 of the uhm... 5(argueable) best sprinters of the world. + Euskatel is also one-dimensional, and Saxo only got Contador. So Argos got good chances, + they are anti-doping, that might be in their favour...

Really ?
Chris Anker Sorensen, Kreuziger, Breschel, Bennati, Zaugg, Roche plus very good support ( at least wayy stronger than what Argos have ) Saying Saxobank has only Contador is purely wrong.
They're certainly stronger than Argos, easily. They deserve that place much more than them. If they don't get to WT, they might get refused to Tour again, wchich without Contador will be quite boring yet again.
I like Argos, but Saxo is more deserving by far just looking at the squad's strength.

Yeah, ok, maybe I wasn't completely right, but I meaned Saxo doesn't have many cyclists who are among the best of their kind... Roche, Kreuzinger, CA Sorensen, Benatti are all not bad, but (correct me if I'm wrong)I won't see them getting a top 5 in a WT race(maybe once, but not regulary) or getting a (major) stagewin, apart from breakaways...(maybe Breschel can do something though, forgot about him) And btw, I didn't say that Saxo's squad is really bad, just not world-class, apart from Contador. Argos' squad isn't that great, but in terms of (stage) wins, they can equal Saxo...

maybe living in the past but I think that Bennati can win quite a races, he has won one in the Vuelta right?

But in terms of all-rounder squad they don't and so Saxo is more derserving of the place. Well check Kreuziger season as one and revise your opinion about Top 5 in WT except Contador and Breschel. Few others are capable of doing so as well.
Saxo's squad is not world class, but it's certainly better than Argos.

I'd really love to see Argos in the WT, but there's still no doubt that Saxo deserves the spot more than them. I still think that Euskaltel are the ones that should've been degraded down to PCT. But obviously, not much to do about the ridiculous system...
Would be awesome to see Degenkolb, Kittel and Van Rensburg in the WT though.
@Alakagom Okay, you win, didn't know about Kreuzinger's Tirreno
But since I'm dutch, it's only logical that I want Argos in the WT
And still, I don't think that Argos isn't that worse than Saxo, but I admit Saxo is better...

isn't the last WT place going between Argos, Lotto, AG2R and Saxo?
It was 2 spots between Argos, Lotto, AG2R, Saxo and Europcar
Europcar don't want a place so its 2 out of 4
And they should go to Lotto and Saxo.
Argos can only sprint, and AG2R are rubbish anyway.
AG2R has qutie a good transfer window. Should be much improved team in 2013 Getting Pozzovivo & Bentacur are the real scoops. Hutarovich, Appollonio, Dumoulin & Bagdonas are also very good additions. They brought some good talent in Kern and Houle as well. They're definite in WT.
