I wonder what'll happen to the site when GTA 5 releases, it looks like it'll be the greatest game ever. I will even buy a ps3 especially to play it
Bold statement! Its got a lot of truly brilliant games to beat to that claim.
Hope Chavanel and Leipheimer can produce something in the next few stages.

I hate, hate, hate, hate hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate
Mountain stage's.
Luky for me only need to look at those now .
but lame jokes aside. today's stage is similiar to yesterday's stage.
today's stage is the chance for GC riders that don't really Time Trail very well. hopefully that is the case.
Today's Break were two groups. In the First group there were 11 riders. Stetina (VCD), Kadir (ALM), Madrazo (MOV), Horrach (KAT), Froome (SKY), Kashechkin (LAM), Bak (HTC), Malacarne + Gadret (SAX) and yesterday winner: Pieter Weening from Rabobank.
In the second group. there were three riders: Sicard (EUS), Bouet (GRM), Hernández (QST).
the gap's going over the third mountain the gap's to the peleton were 4"44 for the second Group and 6'53 for the first group.
we see that now after the 4th mountain sprint the reason why Weening (RAB) is in the break: The Mountain Jersey. currently worn by Jussie Veikkanen for Omega Pharma Lotto with 16 points. before the stage Weening had 9 points. however with 19 points left to pick up and 18 points already taken by Weening he will were the jersey tomorrow, maybe even take it home.
Unlucky event for Vacansoleil. Stetina who was in the break away has fallen, now he's all alone
due to the high pace set by Saxo the breakaway was pulled in rather quickly on the final climb. with Kadri being the last one standing
The First GC-Contender to attack is Alexandre Vinokourov, with Contador, L.L. Sánchez, Evans, Schleck followed.
the first strike wasn't strong enough to get away and the attack then stalled so the downhill section to the finish is going to the decide who wins. the Elite group consisted of Evans (BMC), Gadret, Contador (SAX), Vinokourov (AST), A. Schleck (LEO), Van den Broeck (OLO), Wiggins, Moreno, Urán (SKY), L.L. Sánchez (RAB), Leipheimer, Chavanel (QST), T.Martin (HTC). Leipheimer and Martin are dropped on the downhill section.
The final sprint is a free for all
It looks like Contador has the strongest legs after today's stage
Contador's Wins the stage for Saxo Bank:
after today's stage we see that the GC, Youth and the Mountain jersey have a new leader, and we proprably will see a change in the top 10 tomorrow in the time trail
Retired: Kevin Seeldreayers (OLO)
outside of time limit: Salerno (LIQ), Lodewyck (OLO), Ignatiev (KAT)Z
game crashed so no export (2nd time that happend but no sprint glitch )
Stage Top 10
1. Contador (Saxo Bank)
2. Schleck (Leopard)
3. Van den Broeck (Omega Pharma)
4. Vinokourov (Astana)

Vino showed himself there by being the first to attack and finishing 4th, the team is happy with this stage
Also, he is now 5th in the GC, and I can see him moving up to 4th in the TT.

I don't know, I didn't see or got a notice about a crash but when I scrolled too the back of the race I saw that he didn't race anymore.

Like this (I know it's my own, but at least it's decent right? )
Or take fernando97's as an example.

For an ITT. Pick out who you think the top5-10 favorites are. Follow their progress and give a 2-3line write up on their day, maybe 2-3 screens
Then follow the last 5-10 riders (those top on GC). again a 2-3line write up on them, with 3-5screens.
Also not any unexpected performances from anyone else.
Fernando97's are good, also check out Mre's from his Andy Schleck story. Both nice examples
For a TTT. 2-3 lines on each team. 5-10 screens.
My Europcar one in pcm11 and fcancellaras are both good examples of these.
TT's are the hardest things to report in a story

Paris - Nice Stage 6 (ITT)
today we have an time trail. but using Cya logic the mysterious youth might have a shot at winning today (TR=73) but I let the youth stand on auto-pilot.
the start is a downhill section with but after the first checkpoint the road goes up and then we have a small downhill section and then the finish.
we pick up the race when Grabsch is starting. he's one of the outsiders today so that is a good point to start. here's a list of riders that we will follow over the course of this race
98th Grabsch (THR)
50th Mysterious Youth (TCS)
48th Clement (RAB)
6th Wiggins (SKY)
5th Vinokourov (AST)
4th Schleck (LEO)
3rd Sánchez (RAB)
2nd Evans (BMC)
1st Contador (SBS)
the fastest time before Grabsch hit the road was Lieuwe Westra (AG2R)
Lieuwe Westra (AG2R) 39'05"
Grabsch was the first of the favorietes too start today and crushes the provisonal best time by 25" at the first checkpoint. he eventually makes it home in 38'11"
[/quote]
Our mysterious youth starts right before the next favoriete Clement but was 35" down on Grabsch at the first checkpoint. he finished provisional 3rd. 32 seconds down on Grabsch. Provisional Second place is for Lars Bak (HTC)
Clement started great by getting a similair time then Grabsch at the checkpoint. and the finish was even stronger. 10 seconds faster then Grabsch who is now 2nd, Mysterious Youth 4th.
does Porte have it in him to prevent Clement from staying on top. while at checkpoint he was slightly faster then Clement was +1" and he does it. he is now the fastest. 14 seconds faster then Clement
shortly after Porte set the fastest time, the best intermediate time has been beaten by David Zabriskie, he's now close to the finish. what will his time be?
He does it. He has the fastest time yet
Now the GC comes into play. the next rider to finish is #12 in the GC: Levi Leipheimer (QST) he's 1'16" behind Contador in the GC. Leipheimer finishes in 37'36" which obviously puts him in virtual yellow.
the next rider is Tony Martin (HTC) he has the same time as Leipheimer in the GC but beated him at both the checkpoint and the finish. he is now the fastest with 37'11" also grants him virtual yellow
next up are Urán and Moreno. both not good in the time trail but Uran has the youth classification to look forward to. with an two minute lead over De Gendt his leading postion is secuered.
and Chavanel takes the virtual yellow jersey. he passed Moreno like it was nothing on the finish line. with only being 23 seconds slower than Martin.
Next is Jurgen Van den Broeck (OLO) can he beat Martin or Chavanel for the stage lead or the virtual yellow? he does neither of the two. he finished in provisional 10th with a 51 seconds gap to Martin.
can British Champion Bradley Wiggins break Martin's lead. No but he does take virtual yellow with a time of 37'29". while Vinokourov finishes in the same time shortly after
both Andy Schleck and Luis León Sánchez don't match the time of Martin or Wiggins and Vino it now comes down to Cadel Evans who needs to finish in a time of 37'33 to take virtual yellow and he finishes in ...
37'14!
he takes virtual Yellow and comes 3 seconds short of Tony Martin. only Contador is left and needs a time of 37'21 to keep his yellow jersey and he finishes in
Spoiler 37'20!
Contador keeps his yellow while Tony Martin wins the stage
Breschel keeps his green, Weening keeps his Polka Dot and Urán keeps his white jersey

with the time trail behind us, we have a stage that is classified as a flat stage today and tomorrow the final stage classified as a mountain stage
it may be classified as a flat stage but the is a climb in the middle of the stage so a breakaway might keep the distance. Evans (BMC), Sagan (LIQ) and Vinokourov (AST) are race favorietes while Contador (AST), first in GC, isn't listed
the breakaway consisted of B.Feillu (LEO), L.Pasamontes (MOV), A.Hansen (OLO), K.Carkström (GRM), and the mysterious youth thinking that he can maybe win the stage. the shortest in the GC was Brice Feillu being 7'52" behind Contador.
with Pasamontes (3rd in the KOM rankings) it was clear that he took the points for the KOM jersey getting a 3 points lead of Weening (RAB). but the breakaway didn't make it to the last intermediate sprint.
the intermediate sprint was won by Pozzato (KAT) before Breschel (HTC) with Haussler (GRM) taking 3rd.
because of the absense of the main sprinters and there helpers the sprint is fairy open. Van den Broeck is the first to start sprinting.
Sánchez is overtaking Van den Broeck, Evans is close behind
Evans can't overtake Sánchez, while Schleck and Sánchez are going side by side
Andy Schleck wins the stage by beating Sánchez and Vinokourov in the bunch sprint.
outside time limit: Fabio Sabatini (Liquigas), Enrique Sanz (Movistar)
