What? Seriously?
A few minutes of fun on Muro di Sormano, a lame Ghisallo climb and no pictures on the final climb. Only real exciting part was the descent down into Lecco.
Imo, probably the worst monument this year. Obviously it would've been better if we had seen the final climb, but still. It was lame all the way to it.

Ah, now I can understand people who rates this year's Vuelta so highly. I could only watch live the last kilometres and it looked like a fine race to me. Obviously I was wrong.
I also found de Ronde a bit worse than usually, but agreed, this was the worst monument of the year.
I thought this wasn't that bad. For me, the worst monument was Paris - Roubaix. For me, Lombardia wasn't that bad. I mean, it was quite of a suspense with the not working of the TV. And a great winner ofcourse.

In my opinion was epic.
The best race this year was, Omloop het Volk! With Vanmarcke own.
Nicolas Roche fanboy
Dombrowski future winner of Tour de France!
Rui Costa!
You mean where Boonen went solo from like 50 km out? Did we watch the same race?
It was magnificent to watch but you must admit it did sap some of the tension out of it. Same as when Cancellara did the same thing. I liked it, but I can see why people wouldn't.
But when Cancellara did it, most people in the main group refused to work and his advantage went up to 3 minutes in a glimpse of an eye, so the race was over. This year Boonen's advantage was, for many kilometers, just below 1 minute, and Sky had 3 riders in the front group. Totally different imo.
