Rodriguez is losing the race here.
Contador will be a very deserving winner with this sort of attack though.

I saw Saxo Bank dealing out water bottles now to Tiralongo. Will he help Contador up the mountain and maybe get the stage win? |

I hate to say it, but Contador has cohones. He's up there pulling (and now attacking) to increase the gap whilst Purito and Valverde are just sitting there hoping for everyone else to work to bring them in.
The gap is allmost a minute and a half, give me one good reason why Rodriguez isn't doing a single thing.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

He wants to lose 2 GTs the same year. It makes him feel worth 2 Andy Schlecks.

I think he's hoping Contador will crack on the final climb after that effort and hopes he will catch him with his fresh legs. Or something like that.

Contador with the most brilliant attacks in years
Rodriguez is cracking up, I think. His third week is always the worst. |

17km to go and Contador is increasing the gap with almost 10 seconds per kilometer.
Rodriguez is officially the biggest idiot I've ever seen stradle a bike.

Nope. His third week in the 2010 Tour was very good. He was even 2nd (3rd) in the Tourmalet.

Okay, his third week is almost always the worst.
Looking at today's stage I'm right on this GT
Contador has class, that's for sure! |
