Comfortably - I think GC win by 14 secs - Sagan should have won yesterday (joke!) |

Kreuziger looked very uncomfortable in the saddle for that one. Constantly having to reposition on the bike. |

Given the TTT result a great turnaround for Nibali. |

Great TT by Nibali. Really deserved that win. Great start of the season so far! |

nibali could be the surprise at MSR
last year he came 8th and his condition was nowhere close to the one he has now.
given his ability on downhill, he could attack on the top of the poggio or cipressa... looking forward to next saturday |

Wait what? Scarponi got passed by Rodriguez in GC? He was beaten by Purito in a TT? That's not good from him.
Also, +1 on titleist. MSR will be great.

Why?
He only had the lead because of the TTT. Nibali has ridden better than him for the rest of the race.

Well, glad to be wrong, Nibbles definitely deserved the win more than Horner and Kreuziger.
Now bring on La Primavera!

bettini 2003 from the poggio
colombo 1996 from the cipressa
furlan 1994 from the poggio
quite rare, but still possible
and the Manie climb wasn't there at those times... |

I think we should probably be looking out for Sagan a bit more. With his current climbing form, and the fact we know he can sprint exceptionally well from a small group, and that he came 17th last year in his first run at it, he's a serious favourite!
