OOoooo, it's going to be a close battle between Costagli and Cataldo. Who will claim that Top GC rider spot for Wiggle? I'm ignoring Ponzi for obvious reasons - I'm still not sure what he's doing in the Top 20 overall...

If only Schleck has been better positioned
And boooo @ the peloton. A rare case of a Vesuvio rider trying to get in the break, and you chase him down!

I wouldn't worry too much about it - think you have the teams classification sewn up. With Pozzo on the podium don't see any more Vespa riders going up the road for a big 10 minute win.
Trafficante capable of it though.... |

Not related to teams classification, I just want to see my team go for the breaks! Its not happened since the first couple of stages.

Nice try by Posthuma there. Too bad it didn't work out.

Samwel slips below Carrara, ought to be able to make that up on the next 2 mountain stages. Schleck will have to climb better than he's done all race if he is to get a podium, the hilly stage not really tough enough for him, but mountains may be too tough.

Ginanni continues to completely fail....Long since gone past the point where I can let him go - I know if I do, he'll start winning just about everything..... |

Could have gone better, would have liked some extra seconds on Sella.

Damn that breakaway. Another stage win for Ponzi would have been terrific. Still, another podium can't be shunned.
Cataldo is steadily moving up the GC. Slowly, but surely.
By my judgment, I gained back 1 minute 30 or so on Vesuvio and others in the team GC, come on 3rd spot! I can do it.

This was what I hope Anza would be able to do on a stage like his. Just too bad that he was outsmarted by Flügel.

I have to say, I expected much worse results from Henao in these tricky hilly stages. Although I am not so sure about HIL vs. MO settings in PCM in these stages. Still happy with him, though.

What the hell are Posthuma and Cornu doing? They should rest for the final stage. They have no chance on a top mountain finish to get a stage win.

A day that we may have expected, a little bit of shuffling around but the day not hard enough to cause the big damage.
Stage 20, however is a different cup of tea and it is really going to be a question of how much Ricco has left. It has the feeling that he made one really big push today an nuetralised Sella he may need more tomorrow. I think Sella may just nick the jersey away on stage 20, but we will see.
