was quite impressed by wiggins today. first time i've ever seen him be able to react to attacks on a climb. normally he just gets into a rhythm and as soon as someone attacks he gets dropped and hopes to slowly ride back up to them at his own pace.
i know the quality of the field is nowhere near as strong as it will be at the tour but he's looking good for a much better performance then last year at least. unless of course he goes so far into the red at the dauphine he has nothing left for the tour. |

Evans looked really weak and was caught behind a couple of times. Will be interesting to see him tomorrow. |

Great win for Europcar. Their tactics were brilliant.
And good to see Martin and Taaramaë testing themselves, I guess tomorrow we'll see Gesink doing the same. |

Looking forward to tomorrow's stage.

It's worth saying that Basso has arrived in the maillot jaune group. It looks like he's improving. |

though to be fair the rest of the favourites are tired from racing for the last few days while Basso has been on holiday.
he'll probably go for a stage win over the weekend. |

Gesink looked like to be taking a holiday today. Didn't even try for 1 seconds and soft-pedalled the way up.
I really expect him to test himself tomorrow otherwise I don't see the point of him starting this Dauphine |

Evans was even more boring than usual today. I didn't see him once during the whole final climb.

I did, but always bridging the gaps the rest of the favorites had opened on him. He looked kinda weak today, but it wasn't like he was riding within the group without breaking a sweat. |

bit unfair to call someone boring when they simply aren't strong enough to get to the front. i'm sure evans would have loved to have attacked, he simply couldn't. |

No it isn't Il Grillo, that's only what the official ASO profile tells you. But they have it wrong.
The profiles on other sites like cyclingcols.com, starting adn finishing on the same point, tell it's 4/5/6 procent constantly, with a flat part near the top.

According to the ASO profile even steeper, the whole profile and the percentages were a bit off, so i quickly did my own one. It also depends which road you go up there in the lower part of the climb. ASO tells D902 while i'm pretty sure the profiles you posted take D307 and then D902, just by comparing with the profiles i did.
