Schleck loses by 39 seconds, exactly the time Andy lost in Chaingate

Yeah and he would have lost minutes on stage two and Saxo pulled on stage three when Contador was caught behind the crash... And so on. It was a great duel between two very evenly matched riders. The best man won. Now let's just leave it at that. I think it has been a great tour and we still have a battle for green tomorrow!
if andy's chain hadn't come off then contador would have still won.
it would have just meant contador would have attacked on the toumalet instead of sitting on andy's wheel the whole way up and gifting him the win. |

If Petacchi wins the green jersey, theres another tainted drugged jersey as Petacchi is probaly doping, its something about Lampre, Santambrogio and Ballan investigated this year of when they were at Lampre.

But Andy proved he can match Contador on the climbs.

Yes and Cav is as clean as new snow. Or mineral water. Or a baby.

Contador attacked on Tourmalet, but didn't get away.
We don't know what would have happened - in the same way that we don't know what would have happened if everyone had decided to ride on stage 2, leaving the Schlecks behind. |

Seems Saxos plan worked, Contador says he began thinking that he was losing the tour when he lost time to Andy. |

But perhaps that also motivated him to put even more effort into it? |

There's a list of things that aren't clean. How would you like it if I said that about Hushovd? |

I wouldn't mind actually. They are all three in the top 10 of the best sprinters of the world, so naturally you can accuse all of them of various things.

He said he thought the Tour might be lost at certain points, mostly because of "other factors" (he didn't want to talk about what). Clearly something affected his form.
He also joked he'd have to "have a talk" with whoever was on the radio because no one ever told him his lead was under threat at any point today.

yes but it was only a half hearted attempt which he gave up on pretty quickly. i still think contador is the stronger climber, if only very slightly. on the mountain stages he took time out of schleck. if he really needed to i'd still be confident that contador could have dropped schleck.
the most supprising thing has been contadors apparent lack of, and Schlecks sudden uncovering of TTing ability. next year could be quite interesting. |

Arashiro is doped.

Okay, I'll go and blame Rolf Sørensen for his bad Spanish skills then. |

Not counting the stage with the mechanical problem, they took 10 secs on each other on the other mountain stages. How can you say they were not evenly matched? |

You have more confidence that I do.
Petacchi will come 2nd or something again. I'm quite confident that Petacchi has already won green.

Eurosport airing a short retrospective on the tour.
"Tyler Farrar abandoned, odd as this was supposed to be a transitions stage".
