Remember the ten times or so I said Menchov would suffer like he always does after a rest day?
He's at the back of the peloton close to getting dropped and we're not even at the climb.
I doubt he's weak, why would Rabobank pull then?
EDIT: But if he gets dropped fast, I will be the first to admit you were right.... again

Menchov always sit at the back of the pack in the mountain stages so far so I'm not that sure it's a bag sign

This is the final categorized climb of the tour.

But the peloton is extremely stretched this time and he was last wheel.

That explains it, then.
EDIT: And why are Rabobank pulling if Gesink isn't in the first 50 positions either?

I wouldn't be surprised if he dropped really soon, 'cause Cav needs his train with full power to win the green.

Assuming Menchov is fine, I assume Rabobank are pulling to try to put pressure on Sanchez

Liggett just said he doesn't believe Contador needed to apologize for Monday. I would've thought they would've sided with Andy. |

On the stage itself, they disagreed over whether Contador was right or wrong
