A few riders were complaining these roads are a lot like the dangerous ones they complained about during the Vuelta.

Too many crashes
And Sky did not deserve to lose the jersey due to time splits, they did good work today.

Why would you sign up to do the Giro, classically a mountainously hard and evil ITALIAN grand tour, to be lumped off to Holland to lose it all in the second stage by some retardedly narrowing of roads, and a helluva lot of road shite.
