Yep. His results aren't that good. But he is better than you think.
This isn't about how good he is.
It's about whether or not he's good enough for Liquigas. Either he is, or he isn't. And Juraj isn't.
There are much more deserving riders, but he gets in because he knows people. That's ridiculous.

No, that's the way of the world. It's all about who you know, not what you know, or what you can do.

Completely true. It's how so many things work eg. the music business. And it's outrageous. Sucks to be a more deserving rider

Sporza said that Frank Schleck said in an interview that he wants to try his luck in RvV oneday and hopefully win it. That year he would leave the Ardenne Classics aside.

Meh.
I don't buy it. For two reasons.
1. Frank's been saying he's going to try the cobbles for 3 seasons now. 2008, 2009 and 2010. In all of them, he was selected to ride cobbled races and in all of them he decided to pull out at the last moment.
2. Most hilly classics riders say at one point or another that they really want to try to win RvV before the end of their careers. Most don't.
Look at Valverde, he's been saying it forever. He's 30 and still nothing.

I know the media has to do this every time they have a slow day, but it really irritates me.
For those of you who don't know what I'm on about, this was news....in 2007. 3 years later, they've been called to testify, so all the cycling websites report it as news.
It's not. the investigation has been going on since 2007 and now they've been called to testify. That's it. That they're involved, we've already known for a very long time.
It's very annoying

That will be the Landis link. Such a dissapointment that the Bahati team signed him.

Sastre doing the Vuelta too.
My gut says he feels he can't possibly be in shape in time for the Giro.

All PR is good PR... Small teams signing earlier dopers is a good way for them to be recognised. Sad, but true |

Everytime when they get an EPO doped rider the UCI is saying that it was an control because of his values in the blood pass.
But then they would getr much more riders if the blood pass would be that good.
I think a good orgtanisation of the blood pass could be a good way to get dopers but at the moment i doubt if the pass is giving any relevant information to them. In my eyes a lot of riders should have strange values and you always read about a lot of stuff like 20 riders under control but nothing happens.

A lot of the positives they don't say that. The last two, Giunti and Frei they didn't say that.

Because as they've told us, they can clearly see those riders are doping from their blood values. But without a positive test...

Angelo Zomegnan says that AC will ride the 2011 Giro d'Italia. That's being farsighted, as we don't even know in which team will he ride. |

Sylvain Chavanel will miss Tour de France, he falled bad at LBL, got a fractured skull and a concussion.
He fell close to the finish, riding behind a team car to another team, the car broke, and Chavanel crashed in the car.

Quickstep. That's an easy one to predict.
Unless Valv. finally sods off. Then it might be Caisse.

Well, Lefevere will certainly try to sign Contador. He already implied that he's going to rebuild his team, and a lot of his riders haven't got a contract for next season yet. |

Contador will stay in Astana for next year. I'm almost sure.
