Another FYI : Since it has been a year now, it looks like once I finish Season 1 with EA-Sony, It should be around the time PCM11 comes out. So Season 2 is most likely not going to be on PCM10 like planed, but on PCM11.
Season 2 (Year 2011) will feature many new story writing techniques that I haven't use yet (More about this when the time comes ), But will still be done stage by stage. I looking forward to next season already, but I can't jump ahead of myself; We still have an outsiders shot at promotion to the ProTour.
And on the last note until reports later this week, thanks to all the viewers I still manage to have after 1 year. Especially, baia and valverde321. That's what keeps me motivated.

Tour de Qinghai Lake Stage 6 Report
4 stages left in this long 9 stage tour. Today's stage is one for the sprinters before he head back into the hills for another 2 stages. And we will finish the tour with a flat stage.
Back to today's stage, the morning breakaway of 14 riders looks strong halfway through the stage.
At one point even having a 6 minute advantage. But the sprinters arn't just going to give the stage win away.
20 km to go, riders in the breakaway realize they have a chance to spoil the sprinter's party. And they start to attack each other ...
But the pelotons high tempo catchs the front riders, and now the sprint trains take over at even a higher pace. Which drops Deignan, who will lose his 14th GC. Back to the finish ...
Janek Tombak of Cycling Club Bourgas wins his first stage this season on attempt number 43. Beating Robert Wagner and Tomasz Lisowicz, Tombak finally shows he has the power in his legs to win a stage.

Q: What's the gameplan for the rest of the tour since Deignan had a bad day today?
A: Well, I got 2 climbs today and tomorrow, to show I'm the best here. I'm ready to go, lets hope I can get a little help from Deignan and Peterson the next two days and we might be on the podium when everything said and done.

Not the best stage for your team. Just a usual cycling stage, to bad we only have one sprinter (Talansky) and he can only race in so many stages. Hopefully Lovkvist will step up again, like he has in the past, over the next 2 stages.

Tour de Qinghai Lake Stage 7 Report
Well the day has come for Lovkvist to shine, but even coming in as the top favorite and outstanding form, teamates Deignan and Peterson need to be a great supporting cast if Lovkvist wants yellow back by the end of the stage.
The first real point of interest on the road is the only sprint point on today's route. The BOTD contains 14 riders, but is shortly joined by 5 more giving them a total of 19. But all the riders are at least 5 minutes back of Sabido in yellow, so they ride for glory and hopes of a stage win.
As the peloton reaches the base of the climb, the breakaway has opened up a 4 minute gap.
Rory Sutherland makes the first move with real nothing to lose still being 3'07'' back of Sabido.
Lovkvist barks out orders over the team radio, Deignan and Peterson get straight to the front and they start to lay down a hard tempo.
Sabido can't waste his energy trying to follow Lovkvist's tempo so he quickly makes his move.
Just what Lovkvist wanted ... Giving a thumbs up to Deignan and Peterson as he flies by on his way to catch Sabido and Sutherland.
At the top of the cllimb, the breakaway had sucessful made it to the top with all 19 riders; Lovkvist comes over 20 seconds behind them, while Sutherland and Sabido finally realized Lovkvist had just slingshot past them.
The chase was on ...
But not for long, with 25 kms to go Lovkvist was now in the lead group.
Lovkvist can't wait any long and has to attack because Sabido and Sutherland were coming right behind him. But his attack triggers chaos on the road, and the front group splits off into 4 groups!
Lovkvist sits in the second group, while ...
The third and fourth group are shallowed up by the Sutherland's charging pack. And some how Sabido got shuffled back into a small group behind Sutherland ...
As the finish line approachs the question now is can Lovkvist keep his time gap?
David Bernabéu gets the hard fought morning breakaway win, Eduardo Gonzalo 2nd, Bradley White 3rd. Each taking a 45 second gap to Lovkvist how settles for 5th. But as he cross the line ... Rory Sutherland isn't far enough behind him to gain a time gap. And even worse Sabido also closes down the gap from him to Sutheralnd's group in the last 5kms as well. So Lovkvist is back here he start today ... 4th in GC.

Interview - Thomas Lovkvist
Q: We know today didn't turn out as planned, but what can you take away from today's stage to use for tomorrow?
A: That Sutherland isn't going to back down, and more importantly Sabido just isn't going to give me the yellow jersey. I'm fairly confidente that I'm the best climber out here in China right now, but I'm only as good as my teamates. And today they did a great job, so tomorrow I'm going to have to lean on them a little bit more.

Tour de Qinghai Lake Stage 8 Report
The last day for Lovkvist to make his mark on the slopes, and to possible reach the yellow jersey. Because tomorrow is for the sprinters, mostly flat with very minor bumps on the profile.
Just like stage 7, the sprint point is a good place to start todays report. The BOTD contains 4 riders (Jakub Danacik, Nelson Rocha, Sebastien Duret, Sjef De Wilde) each trailing at least by 10 minutes behind Sabido in yellow.
The chase is on right away when the breakway creates a gap of 12 minutes. We had to pick-up the pace if Lovkvist wants a shot at the stage win.
Many solo attacks started as we reached the base of the climb, but Deignan puts them back in their place with a strong tempo driving the peloton.
Marczynski makes the first move, 2nd overall only 20 seconds behind Sabido. Lovkvist has to counter his strong move.
Lovkvist shows his strong legs and powers past Marczynski, but now Sutherland ...
and now Sabido have to show their cards as the road kicks up to 9%.
But Lovkvist isn't backing down, creating his own gap of 1'30'' to his rivals.
At the top the gap remains the same, Lovkvist needs just a few more seconds to have the virtual lead on the road. And by being the 5th rider over top he claimed the KoM points winner for the tour with no points available for tomorrow's stage.
Not know for his downhill abilities, Lovkvist is steaming towards the finish line, even passing breakaway rider Rocha. But his other breakaway companions still are a few minutes up the road.
10km to go, Rocha isn't letting Lovkvist save energy on the flat run towards the finish instead he is forcing Thomas to set the tempo. Rocha and Lovkvist are having a hard time communicating through the language barrier - Rocha speaking Portuguese. So when Lovkvist looks back with 10km to go, everyone else had closed the gap. It was now only 45 seconds.
25 seconds and dropping ...
Back at the finish, Jakub Danacik wins his first stage of his professional cycling career at age 21. Back to Lovkvist -
Caught ... right before the finish. A disappointing race for Thomas; he has to settle for 8th, but more importantly possible 4th in GC. The top half of the GC remains the same because the peloton also gets the same time as Sabido's group.

Interview - Thomas Lovkvist
Q: Well, you came up short once again ... What happened out there today?
A: Chaos, pure chaos. I thought I was in control of the race until I meet up with Rocha on the road. I couldn't understand anything he was saying, and my manager keep telling me through the radio to work with Nelson, but he had other plans. So I tried for a few kilometers, and by the time I turned around Sabido was in viewing distance. But hey I will still come out of here with the KoM classification and way more respect for my teammates. So not everything about this tour was bad. And with stage left anything can happened ...
Update:
Spoiler Well I was caught off-guard with the site maintenance so I couldn't get this report up monday in time, sorry. Stage 9 will hopefully be posted tomorrow.

Tour de Qinghai Lake Stage 9 Report
The last stage of the tour is a beautiful 84 km circuit. Lovkvist is on the outside looking in for the podium. But there is hope with a tough 8.6% hill each time through the circuit.
Attack right from the gun, and Deignan looks to get in on the action.
Once everyting settles down the BOTD contains 18 riders, including Deignan.
Not for long though as Deignan wants to have all the glory.
But it only last for 3 circuits, the breakaway riders can enjoy the view since the peloton has yet to pick up the pace. They have a 2'30'' gap with 45km to go.
The sprinters aren't going to let the breakaway win today ... They are caught with just one more circuit to go (10 kms).
The tempo is out of control, 9 riders hit the pavement. None of them in the top 10.
Lovkvist is in great position at the top of the hill.
Lovkvist makes his final move of the tour ...
And catchs the sprinters off guard ...
On the second bridge, 2.5 kms from the finish ...
Lovkvist still has a 5 second advantage.
With the finish line in view, Lovkvist is caught with 600 meters in between him and a stage win.
Sebastian Forke wins by a half a wheel over Janek Tombak. Lovkvist hangs on for 9th place. But still 4th overall. Missing the podium by 2 seconds.

Q: What was the purpose of that last attack?
A: A stage win for all my problems I have had this tour. And still after 9 stages the only thing I can bring home is KoM jersey. I feel like I have let down my teammates, but there is nothing I can do now.

Bold = Signed With EA-Sony For Next Year
A 14.2 km totally flat criterium in rural Chicago, USA. Being back home should raise our morals but with a weak squad I don't except any top result. Talansky is in preparation for the Dutch Food Valley Classic in mid-August, so he doesn't have the form to compete just yet.
Race favorites seem to point out the few sprinters in this surprisingly large amount of Pro Tour teams. The top sprinter looks to be T. Bos of Cervelo, and to name a few others J. Dean, L.Haedo, L.Howard or even T.Phinney could find there way sprinting for a win as well. But just incase this doesn't go as plan a few gutsy attackers could steal the show, like P.Gretsch, A.Rasmussen, A.Vinokourov, or S.Paulinho.
Update FYI:
Spoiler This was just a quick stale report, the race report should be posted in a few days. Then by the end of next week I should have had enough time to put together the End-July Month Summary. Which will included the rest of the Tour de France reports. Thanks for reading ~ Mresuperstar.

After recently getting accepted into the Man-Game I will have to push back a few things because of time commitments. Chicago Criterium will be posted on Sunday, and have to push back the end month report to Friday (April 1st); Which is also the start of my spring break. Once I get everything done and figured out with my CSC-Orbea team then I should be able to run both things at normal pace for me. Which is usually 2-3 full reports on the weekends. Hope you understand, Mresuperstar

Yes I understand! But why a Spanish and Portugese team? I never could have seen you starting a team with those two nationalities.
I will have to slow down my story so that I have time for the Man-Game too.

Well I love climbers, and Spain produces a lot of good climbers. I will still probably have a litte USA influence riders because of the CSC sponsor, but for some wierd reason I felt Portugese would fit nice with a strong spanish climbing squad. But anything can happen in transfer season ...

Chicago Criterium
Our best option today is the Peraud-Talansky duo but with Talansky way out of form, Peraud has all the weight on his shoulders.
The morning breakaway surprisingly only contains 4 riders. The peloton not concerned about the breakaway lets them get away a bit to far.
But they eventually get their act together, the breakaway starts to attack each other under the pressure of the charging peloton with 25kms to go.
But the peloton loses steam and starts to slow down again like they gave up. And instead of the sprint trains today, the attackers start their chase.
Peraud sees his chance, and attacks with some high name riders Frantisek Rabon and Nicki Sorensen.
And a few more attacks ... The peloton finally realizes what big a mistake they made and the sprint trains take over the tempo.
Which catches the back of the peloton off-guard creating a big crash.
With 5km to go, HTC-Columbia has the lead with Kanstantsin Siutsou.
But is quickly joined by Frantisek Rabon, Nicki Sorensen, and Michael Schar. Peraud just didn't have the energy or form to keep up the ProTour Riders today.
Rabon and Schar split from Sorensen and Siutsou, with 1km to go. But behind them the sprint trains are also looking for the win as well.
But at the line Rabon wins the Chicago Criterium for Team HTC-Columbia, just ahead of the sprinters.
Results - (Game Didn't Export, Again)

Interview - Jean-Christophe Peraud
Q: A strong start-list full of ProTour teams today, what would it take for the team to come even close to a win today?
A: A strong sprinter in form. Not to bash on Talansky, but even if he was in perfect form today, I don't even think a top 20 would be possible. Its just disappointing to be right at home in Chicago and not be really recognized as a competing cycling team. If it wasn't for my semi-attack we wouldn't have even been noticed today.

Paris - Correze Stage 1 Report
Our Riders -
August begins for us with a two-day hilly stage race. Lovkvist gets the call to lead the team just since last week since management realized that he is in great form. He will get help from D. Martin, and Talansky looks to get in shape before his important race - Dutch Food Valley Classic in a week from now.
Ackerman jumps onto the attackers right off the gun.
But the peloton doesn't let them go right away. Ackerman is brought back at the start of the first climb.
Over top a few strong fighters are able to jump in front of the peloton.
And by the time they reach the second climb it's clear this group was going to give the peloton trouble. The 8 riders have a gap of 8 minutes, and it continued to grow.
With 20km to go, favorite Vino makes his move. The breakaway looks unbeatable now.
Lovkvist can't wait any longer, the peloton was given up all hope of catching the breakaway riders.
Riders are all over the road, Lovkvist just weaving through the crowd. Vino catches a glimpse of the charging Lovkvist. But has nothing left in the tank to counter.
Over at the finish there is a dual for the stage win between Job Vissers
and Hayden Roulston.
Job Vissers beats out Roulston by a few inches.
3 minutes later Lovkvist is under the 1km banner, but the a few exhausted breakaway riders touch wheels during their sprint and hit the pavement right in front of Lovkvist.
Lovkvist is on a mission and just runs over the riders on the road, and to his luck is able to get 10th on the line.

Interview - Thomas Lovkvist
Q: What are the odds you can bring back 3 minutes back tomorrow?
A: Very good if my team can keep up with me. Today that didn't happen because of the strong tempo the peloton brought at the start of stage. So when we reached 10km to go, I was the only EA-Sony rider left. Hopefully stage 2 will have a different story.

I think you owe about 15 more stage reports according to your: "I'll have about 3 updates per week usually posted on the weekends" or something along those lines.
