Most of the Wildcars were logical but in my oppinion Vacansoleil with would have been better for the race than Footon. Skil Shimano is quite similar to Footon, no real favorite for the top 20 but making a stage more attractive with agressive riding. But nevertheless there are enough teams who can take this part quite well : Bbox, Footon, Milram, Ag2R, Cofidis, FDJ, Kathusha.... Of course they have bigger ambitions than maybe Skil but i definitly think that we gonna see some great stages. |

Trying not to sound aggressive:
For the three millionth time , Footon is guaranteed an automatic invite whether the organizers want to or not. Same with 17 other teams.
In other news, Saxo Bank have signed yet another minor sponsor for the rest of this season as they desperately try to get enough money to cover their expenses.
This time it's Luxembourg Airlines

Well, for some reason it's being reported today as if it's new.

Haussler won't ride the Ronde van Vlaanderen and Paris - Roubaix according to Cervélo due to a knee injury.
Edit: same goes for Andreas Klier

Remember L. A. Confidentiel, that book that supposedly has significant evidence that Lance doped, and has only been published in French? Well thanks to some guy, we know have an english translation.

edit: not to mention that he has translated and uploaded a number of other important documents in the fight against doping.

Still dissapointing. All these new teams ruined Vacansoleil chances, plus the stupid Pro Tour agreemeent which makes useless teams as Milram and Footon Servetto appear
Such a useless team Footon is, that they've won a fair amount of races this season already, and are sat in the CQ rankings above Euskaltel, BMC, Saur-Sojasun, Skil Shimano.
I quite look forward to seeing Footon ride.
+ they have the best looking shirts.
Or the worst.
but nonetheless, the one with the most feet on it.

Thanks for posting.
I guess there's not much new, but it's always an interesting read. |

And my last note from the interview is that MR repeats what he said back in 2007: That Hushovd, at the time, had two warnings, given by the Norwegian Anti Doping Federation.
A bit late, but this has been denied by both Hushovd and the current Norwegian cycling president at that time. |

Shame. I would have loved to see how far he's able to go in such a race. |

Not me. I do want to see how well he'll do in Roubaix. Especially since he's saving himself.
It's going to tell us a heck of a lot about how good he actually is, and most importantly, how strong he is mentally.
