Stage 2
Granges-Paccot - La Chaux-de-Fonds
First serious breakaway atempt Figueras, Cuesta and Horrach. No result for that attempt...Astana team chase them down.
Caisse look realy agressive today..they probably want achive something at Romandie tour (so far they have just 4.points in CYA team ranks..and last place)..Arroyo solo attempt.
This was strange view ..five t-mobile riders drops in the same time of the peloton. T-mobile has strange team in tour...lot of sprint power (cabedish is one of them).
Cioni has also a little difficulty to follow..and also I notice that van Huffel as my team main leader helper..is sometimes even stronger then Cioni..at least even.
About 100 riders still left in peloton..final sprint. Di Luca looks realy strong today..point jersey owner Sanchez follows.
Killer wins the stage and also he will be in yellow tomorrow. CYA tour leader Sanchez get few points more to increase he's individual lead.

Andy was in that big group...in GC he is 23.th. ...+14sec. behind. There is so tight at the front..last two stages will be decisive..mountain stage and TT

Okay. Giro is gonna be great, but depending on which DB you use, I don't think Andy is gonna win, but I would like to be proved wrong |

Stage 4
Moudon - Charmey
Cioni should be careful..at last uphill finish..do not loose any seconds there. Today stage will be just preparation for tomorrow serious mountain stage. Time to but some goal also..inside the GC 10..can be done...(last TT wil probably help me out).
First seious atack for today..Caruso and Devolder. Cioni taking easy for now..he hold all he's shots for final uphill finish.
19,3km. to go..last mountain top finish..this is serious Moreau..Sastre and Voecler atacking. In downhill section all comes back together..this is gonna be uphill finish fight after all.
Cauccioli..atacks..Buresghin follows. Cioni deided that this is must be the moment and follows. Maybe to early..soon sprint will start.
Sprint..Parra is leading..Cauccioli and Gil...Cioni trying to catch Parra's backwheel.
He's moving and good..he is already side by side with Parra..can he also pass him..
Yes he did...big Italian wins. I'm exited..this is exelent..I have to thank my co-trainers..who has done such a great work. I always had some rider to complete in top 3 places..great planning. Cioni's form getting every day better and better...example - at the second stage he has difficulty to follow peloton high tempo..Today 3 days later he is motivated...and almost perfect in shape. Ofcorse i dont expect Giro win after that..but now it's much easyer to go Italy.
Btw. looking later GC..Cioni 2nd..just 1 sec. short to take a lead.

Stage 5
Charmey - Morgins
Most decisive stage of the tour..we have 27 riders inside 20. seconds in GC. Ofcorse we have also 20km. TT left after that. But who wants GC victory should be front tomorrow.
This early..but also fact.. Perreiro; Guerini and Sastre ataking already in 148km. to go mark.
Fertonani and Marzano...has left in front in earaly breakaway wave.
45 km. to go..this is serious Parra atacks..Di Luca,Lövkvist, Savoldelli and Cioni follows.
15km. to go...they working fine together..but peloton still closing a gap,,last climb starts. Cioni who feeling exelent and motivated after yesterday win...makes a risky move...short atack and then strong relay. He gets a small gap..he is also surprised that now one hasnt countered at leading group.
5km. later..peloton catches the group and Sanchez, Gil and Moreau..atacks. Cioni has still small advantage.
5km. to go..Moreau chasing..he coming is coming closer and closer.
just before the sprint..Moreau passes Cioni and takes a lead.
Moreau takes a stage win..Cioni seond and dream has come thrue ..he is in yellow at tomorrow last TT. 3rd. place Andy Schlek have lost 1'38. This looking realy good..I never expected to have chanches to win that tour. He just have to beat Moreau tomorrow (Coni have 8 seconds advantage). Looking at TT stage..that should be perfect for me...last 5km. uphill, that should be berfect.

it's in the bag B)
(the game mechanics suffer from the problem that any TT with a lot of climbing is extremely easy to win)
well done! you keep amazing me. first a top 3 in Liége with Horner and now winning this with Cioni.
this should make Cioni's season a success

Stage 6 (TT)
Lausanne - Lausanne
20km. TT..Cioni has just to keep he's 8sec. advantage before Moreau..and that will be win. Last 5km. are uphill..this should work fine for Cioni who has give as exelent climbing for on Romandie tour.
Bert Roesems shows clearly what this last uphill means..he has down at the first time check point..but when he crosses a finish line he gets 28sec.lead...and clear lead at this point (finaly 5th. +7sec.)
Best Agritubel rider 14. +29sec.
Sastre also seems to like that climb at the end 8th. +22sec.
Pereiro 6th. +9sec.
Sanchez Gonzales 3rd. +1 sec.
Di Luca 19th. +36
Tour leader coming 4th. +5sec. (I have lost Moreau picture..in first part of the tage has expected he get's 17sec. advantage over Cioni..that means in first time check point he was also virtual leader..in finish line he get 13th. +29sec...that means he has lost to Cioni 24seconds. more ..this is it..Cioni has done more then enough at he's first serious race..Tour de Romandie win.)
