GP Cycliste la Marseillaise
2008: Allan Davis Mitsubishi
2009: Lars Boom Team Columbia
Interesting breakaway group with guys like Ardila, Julich, Fuglsang and De La Fuente
Ardila crashed on the downhill, while trying to keep it up with the fast pace set by Fuglsang, and he was caught by the pack
Fuglsang and Julich started the last hill of the day together, 30 seconds advantage over the pack
Julich cracked and he was caught while Fuglsang was caught right at the end of the uphill section
So now that Fuglsang is out of business is Boom's time to try something. Just like last year he is trying to make a difference on the downhill and then maintain in to the finish line
And he got away... 5 seconds advantage before the last kilometre and he seems to be able to make it
All the sprinters in the pack are coming really fast but it seems pretty much imposible to stop Boom now
Lars gets the win and he defends the title won last year
