I guess even an overrated rider can win.
I knew that he can TT before.
But he still can not climb.. or win hilly races
He can climb hills in TTs, at least. But I doubt he'll ever win a hilly race of any consequence. He's just rubbish at attacking and counter-attacking, I suppose.

I concluded this last year, after watching the Giro and the Tour. After watching this year's Giro, I'm convinced this is the best GT. I can't imagine this year's Tour being more entertaining than this.
Yeah the Tour is so controlled by the strong teams. The Giro and Vuelta its every man for themselves and theres many attacks nad its just more exciting.

You didn't watch the Vuelta last year?
You deserve to be slapped

Of course I watched the Vuelta, but the levels of excitement can't be compared to the ones of the Giro. It had a "OMG Valverde is cracking!...Oh, no, he's not..." and a lesson on bike handling from Gesink, but that was pretty much it.

This giro Liquigas was by far the strongest team around. But still, this giro was epic. The tour will most likely dissapoint again.

I just noticed that, except the pink jersey, all the other ones were won by aussies. That's unexpected. On another positive note, Caisse was really close to ending their sponsorship in style, with all the 3 GTs in the bag.
