That was weird sprint in Britain. Cavendish lead out basically failed there. Anyway I don't think he would have beat Kittel. |

Kittel was by far the strongest today and deserved the win but he won't win tomorrow as the finish in Llandudno has two ascents of the Great Orme Mountain |

I have loads of pictures from today's stage as it passed through Widnes, where Alex Dowsett won the sprint point. I was on the roundabouts as they went onto the Runcorn bridge. It was a very proud moment, my town has never had anything like that.
