I've not really followed the TT today, but where is Di Luca?

Well, If Contador can win the Vuelta this year, he'll have to be considered the best stage racer in the world, having won all three races in two years |

Well, Contador wins the most boring giro in many years. On top of that he even not won any stage victories. God damn I hate that man :x
I disagree - right up to the last weekend, it was open for a number of riders to win. The racing was fantastic, and Contador managed to fight right up to the end. |

yeah four seconds to second place with a time-trial to go, if riccio was better, it would have been like '87 |

The scariest part about Contador winning this is that he was never in top form during this Giro.

Not to take away from Contador's wonderful accomplishment, but the field at this giro was the weakest in a long time |

Haha he's a huge Contador fan ?
But yes Contador deserve his win .. What can you say he defended the jersey and the others didn't attack him that much.. Probably because they couldn't or something like that .. |

vuelta yes, world champs, no hope in hell Cunego would beat him easy He's already said the course doesn't suit him anyway.
Anywho well done to him he won the giro fair and sqaure without a stage win though. Good Podium by Ricco and Bruseghin, also unlucky to Pelizotti

How could it be the weakest field in a long time if all of the GT winners from last year were in it? |

Contador is off form, Menchov is off form, Di Luca had one good year and crashed back down to earth and Simoni is more feeble than my grandmother. and she just had kidney surgery.
Bruseghin finished on the podium for god's sake. how is this not the weakest in years? |

I'd just like to point out how impressed I've been by Tony Martin this Giro. He's done a lot of work for Cavendish, and this time trial finish is a great finish for him
