For the brits, the Tour of Ireland is on ITV4 7pm daily. With Phil Ligget and an annoying irish guy.
The break of 10 get away and Vandenberg attacked at the top of a tough hill and took his first pro win. Olson also broke clear near the finish for 2nd with Sulzberger sprinting the best of the other 7 in 3rd.

yes my dad made a comment about the irish guy yesterda, saying he must be one of the worst commentators ever
Vandenberg was great though, but the bunch underestimated that break, letting it go with 2 Unibet guys

final part of the Trittico Lombardo:
Coppa Bernocchi (cat 1.):
sprint finish, won by Napolitano ahead of Grillo and Hunter.
seems like repeat winners are the fashion this year...

Hagen ruined his chances by getting in the day's break. He took the green jersey from the sprints but lost it at the finish, dropping to 4th.
In the sprint, Cooke looked to have it won with a huge gap but as he faded Bozic came through to win

I'd say they're probably motivated to do well so they can be signed by a decent team next season.

Odd end to the Tour of Ireland.
A group of 3 were a circuit ahead of the rest and the peleton were only a fewhundred metres behind them and were supposed to do an extra lap.
In the sprint, Thomas Berkhout leaped away too soon and a determined Marco Marcato pulled him back and won the sprint. David O'Loughlin took 3rd. The peleton finished behind them but about only 30 riders continued and the rest stopped. In the end they took the positions of the peleton in what should have been their final lap, meaning Boassen Hagen loses his green jersey. Van Poppel was 4th and Breschel, the new Green jersey in 5th.
Stijn Vandenberg wo overall, Ljunqvist 2nd, Aaron Olsen 3rd and Wes Sulzberger 4th.
