Update: apparently, the team has several offers of european companies wishing to sponsor. This would end the kazakhstani association with the team.

Hm all of this is very interesting and i think everyone makes some good points but i think bottom line is that, all things aside regarding his past and suspicions that he is a doper (which there isn't much evidence either way, as he's said it's hard to prove a negative) I think there are two main things which go hand in hand to a degree that i haven't seen anyone touch on yet.

1.I'm not going to pretend I'm a medical professional or a dope expert but I've researched a bit and there seems to be very few things you can do in the last 20 min before a test to try to absolve yourself of an otherwise indefinitely positive A and B test.

2.Even IF there was something that he could have done in that time, which i think is possible although not probable, I don't think many people would disagree that Armstrong is not an idiot, the guy is pretty bright (and obviously cunning and deceptive for those who believe he's been doping all along) so i don't see why anybody with half a brain who's been tested whatever substantial number of times in the last few months would do something so moronic as to take a banned substance that he KNEW he would HAVE to somehow afford himself 20 minutes before every test that he had to submit in the near future. In Essence it would be probably the most stupid and elementary mistake to put himself in a situation where he had to come up with 20 minutes alone before a test and that he knew that ahead of time. Let alone the logistics of making sure whatever product or method he would use to mask it had to be available at all of the places where he may be staying and having to transport it over borders etc.

Sorry if that wasn't very understandable i always think pretty clearly but think far faster than anyone can type so it's hard for me to not stumble over my thoughts when trying to get them all typed out so if something doesn't make sense please let me know and I'll try to clarify it or if you just disagree i am all for civil discourse and would love to explore the issue more. Smile

Now joining Heinrich Haussler in cyclingnews' dreamland, Mr. Matthew Lloyd, look at the preview for AGR, it says to look out for Haussler and Lloyd to do something. Haussler, obviously, is not built for this kind of race, and Lloyd, although very strong, just can't beat guys like Valverde and co.

Kind of a sad story about Hamilton.

And this time I believe him.

I don't like Hamilton and I've always thought he should have returned his olympic medal. And I hated him a lot when he was found doping. But, even so, I think he is telling the truth.

This DHEA hormone doesn't even have proven effects on improving performances. Perhaps, and only perhaps, it helps in losing weight. And you should be a complete idiot to use a forbidden hormone just to lose some pounds or to get a slight, not even proven, enhancement.

Having said that, I really hope Hamilton can deal with his depression. My sister has clinical depression and, believe me, that is horrible.

I have a problem on how I shall update tourdedoping.com Adding him again or just add a note on his first doping suspension? I never thought that anybody would be that stupid to dope 2 times.

Yea, Hamilton has been dumb as hell. And now we can't see the Stars and Stripes in road races from here on out until a new person in Aug.

I believe his depression, and it has been prescribed. Like your saying, it isn't a performance enhancer, so if he wouldn't have doped before, I'd say just let it go. But nope, I think he is gone...he is what 38 anyway.
