I have no problems with any stages in general, except I can't 3D race time trials. I can simulate them though so I can live with it (too lazy to start over again) but if there is anyway to fix this without reinstalling or anything I'd be happy to know. It worked perfectly fine before I reinstalled the game and installed the database. |

I see my problem is forgotten. |

Did you choose OfficialRelease.cdb or PCMdaily2009DBV2.cdb in game options? Because after update you need to play on OfficialRelease.cdb and it looks like you are still using the old DB file. |

Doesn't make any sense since only 4-5 riders have been given the black skin. However, try doing what this guy suggested:

Well something strange has happened.I installed the update, empty the cache folder, choosed in options the officialdatabase but when i was to make the first race in 3D some riders are black instead of being white. What can it be?
Some riders are black instead of white beacause they are associated in the database with type1_peau and type1_visage (Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2008\CM_Textures\cycliste\skin) which are black skin and black face.
To fix that you can replace type1_peau and type1_visage with type6_peau and type6_visage (rename and overwright)

Due to the new frames, wheels, etc., there's a higher CPU usage than previously. Also, your settings may have been reset when installing the DB. Try lowering your graphic settings in Options -> Display.

Not forgotten, it just doesn't make any sense. You tested the fix, and you said it worked fine. Now with the official one, you're saying it doesn't work.
Plus, no one reported a crash on that date.
What kind of crash is it? 3D crash or when simulating? |

It is 3D crash and the difference from testing is that I haven't tested it with Silence-Lotto. |

Yes, it may have worked previously, but as stated somewhere else in this thread, the new frames, wheels, helmets, etc. take up quite a lot of CPU resources.
We're currently testing some lighter textures to reduce the CPU load. If the tests go well, we'll release them to the public. |

It still crashes my computer is pretty good so it shouldn't have any problems running the game. The race doesn't even start.. After the loading screen is done and it is supposed to start my screen turns black and then I get this error message. I've tried several stages so it's not a problem with 1 stage but time trials in general. |

Okay but I have have noticed a lot more.
actually, all riders in the db is the 1 year too young. Unfortunately I know how to use advance editor and excel so it only takes 10-15 minutes to change

Yes, the blue doesn't look great.
Unfortunately, no-one has made a TT helmet for Saxobank or Fuji yet as far as I know.
There's a CSC one in there, might as well use that
Q
Strange. I thought I looked at the Bell one and didn't use it because it had CSC on it in game. Having just looked now it doesn't.
I think I also tested the Bell with Saxobank and didn't like the way it looked, but can't completely remember. I think I went for blue because it matched their new road helmet.
In any case, hope someone makes a new helmet for Saxobank. I haven't seen it in real life yet - but the TT helmets are pretty easy to edit to anyone who might be interested in making one. |

If it crashes right at the end after loading the textures, it means either that
an equipment file is missing or wrongly named.
Now, I just did a quick test on a TT with custom teams and can play. This doesn't mean anything though as the problem might just affect one team or piece of equipment.
Which teams/races/equipment did you try the TT stages with?
*And of course, check that it's installed properly, as this is the first report we've had of this. Quick way to do this is go to CM_Meshes, Equipment, Frames and look to see if you TT files like this - "frame_BMC_tt". |

Unfortunately? I guess that's more fortunate than unfortunate
Anyway, thanks for the report. I clearly remember that I changed the ages, but I guess I've messed something up during the export. |

What do you mean by " do the more in depth simulation". I'm going to play a continental team and i will not ride TdP, so do the simulation is my only chance to go through this date. |

I think it is. It was one quick way to stop the TdU crash. |
