Sergio Paulinho will probably continue his cycling career on a Portuguese team like Benfica or Liberty Seguros.
I hope Paulinho doesn't come to Portugal. His best move was to go abroad. Just look at how guys in Discovery Channel improve their time trial abilities significantly. There are a LOT of amazing infrastructures, medics and trainers that Pro Tours teams have availabe at their disposal due to their larger budgets.
Coming to Benfica or Liberty Seguros, which are pretty mediocre teams compared with the Pro Tour scope, will most likely degenerate him like what happened to Azevedo, or at least, not allow him to develop his full potential. I also wish that Tiago Machado, Ricardo Mestre and a couple of others go to other international teams as quickly as possible. You can be good if you're a genetic freak in a mediocre team, but you can be awesome if you're a genetic freak and are in a Pro Tour team |

They should take it easy or take it more creativly. I remember when sir. Charlton was irish football team trainer...english national team coach sayd : I have to stop my players visiting Irland..because sir. Charlton will find that player grand..grand mother was irish. |

Chris Horner Duh!
I don't think that Horner will be returning next year. He said during the TDF that he and Predictor were at odds at how much his contract was worth. He Also said that he would do cyclscorss only if he got a sponsor

I've read an article in what Horner said he wasn't getting much paid in Predictor and I think they were even considering cutting him a piece. He'd be better off in a team that actually respects him for the rider he is, and offer him a more reasonable salary.

i guess he would be quite happy to join the aussi PT team in 08 if it becomes reality, so im quite sure he will extend for 1 year (evans will make sure of that)
btw: isnt there a major surplus on the rider market next year? (disco, unibet, wiesenhof...), i think there will be just a few, new high-salary contracts the coming season (ballan...)

Yes that would be nice..but look this is almost like Predictor-Lotto destony..Cadel works alone..also McEwen dont have "milram" train. |

If Saponne hopes that Rasmussen give them TdF win...no way othe teams make same mistake as this year..to let Rasmussen ride a solo in early mountains.
But Giro..this will intresting to see. |
